We had an amazing stay at this property for our annual get together of high school friends. It is an absolutely stunning old farmhouse. Wildlife and scenery abound. The host is amazing. The fire pit and surrounding benches and pavilion are perfect. Beds were comfy and the house was well supplied. The only thing I would change is the "hot tub" it's actually just an inside jetted tub not a hot tub. But the beauty and serenity and seclusion of the property make up for that. We will be staying again.
It was a great place to stay. Yes, it's an old farm house and not a 1000 per night gig but it was real. Excellent bonding environment and great privacy and quiet without another structure in site. Convenient enough to local towns and nature. 4 BR upstairs and essentially one shower but not an issue if you are travelling with considerate people. Group of people with age groups from 20s-50s and all loved it and look forward to a return trip. The owner's grandparents built it 150 years ago and been in the family ever since. They gave us complete privacy with remote check in and throughout the week and responded in minutes when there was one slight issue resolved immediately. Five stars all around.
The fireplace is marvelous we slept on the outside room for the first two nights and the fire pit was wonderful and the house is very warm. I would definitely recommend this wonderful farmhouse to anybody and me and the wife look forward to coming back again
Relaxing place to stay. Owner was very responsive when we accidentally booked the wrong dates and didn’t realize it until a few days before we traveled.
Awesome place to stay house was amazing was clean and had everything you need to clean and cook with. Everything was amazing and wonderful. The kids loved it there.
Our group really enjoyed our 10 night stay. Was like stepping back in time. Beautiful property with a spring house right out back. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
The property is beautiful and the house has everything you need for your stay. The location is pretty remote so it is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Another bonus is that the property is pet friendly and my 2 dogs had a great time as well! Would absolutely go back.
Our time at the Colbert Farm was amazing! We spent it all outside, playing Cornhole and enjoying a nice campfire. The Colbert’s have a very beautiful place, highly recommend!
The entire place was very family friendly. A great place to stay with little children. Our only complaint was that everything we found in the kitchen cupboards needed to be washed before using. It looked like it had been a long time since the kitchen was cleaned, but it was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of clean towels and washclothes. For the price, it was a good stay.
We're repeat visitors for a reason; this old house has the best vibes ever. We love the seclusion and the surrounding land. Needless to say, we're already planning another visit.
