I would recommend this place to anyone! This was our first time doing this and Liz made the Process so easy and I will definitely do it again if I’m ever in the area!!!! We absolutely loved it and the best part was we got to bring our dog!!!

This was the nicest and most well-equipped place that I have stayed at. We stayed here to hunt and it was the perfect spot. You could watch wildlife from the front porch in the evening. I would recommend and without a doubt would stay there again.

Dark skies, peace and quiet

Quiet and relaxing place to stay. Nothing "city" about it, you're out in the country, with only an infrequent audible truck engine on the highway a mile south.

We were there early and new check in was at 4pm. I ran into the cleaning lady and I asked if we could sit in a nice area by the office until it was time to check in and she told me we could go into the cabin that she had just finished cleaning it and the owners wouldn’t mind. We went to the cabin and the owner came up to my husband and told him check in wasn’t tell 4 and it wasn’t clean yet. He tried to explain we had permission from the cleaning lady and he stated I am the owner stay out tell 3pm. This was not a big deal for us to not go in until 4 we planned on sitting outside and enjoy a cocktail while we waited. There is also a camp ground in front of the cabin which is not stated that you look over campers when out on the front porch enjoying the view and weather. It is a nice cabin but was not a welcoming first impression.

This listing does not belong on VRBO. This property is the exact same as a KOA campground. The listings are for campground cabins, not homes being rented. Their listings are misleading, making you think you are renting someones house, which they are not. The entire property is strictly a camping facility. This specific listing states that there is a hot tub, including a photo. That is untrue. There is apparently a community hot tub on site somewhere. There is no privacy with this rental, as there are 7 RV parking pads 100 feet from this cabin. Do your research.

We had an incredibly relaxing stay and loved the peaceful atmosphere. There was plenty of space to spread out, and waking up to the horses in the morning was such a special treat. The community was quiet and made for the perfect stop-over. We would happily stay here again!
