Outstanding stay on a beautiful property. Gracious hosts. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay! I was lucky to find this place at the last moment and Shannon was very accommodating. If you are thinking about a visit to Gig Harbor, this truly is a wonderful spot to stay. Nicest Vrbo I’ve ever stayed in!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful château. The views of the sound and Mt Rainier were spectacular. We were fortunate to have amazing weather the entire time so that we could gaze at the Mountain View. Shannon and Lorne were such kind hosts and very helpful with suggestions of where to visit in the area. It was our anniversary and Shannon provided a wonderful bottle of red wine and luscious pears. We highly recommend this stay and plan to return.

What an incredible property! The pictures barely capture the beauty, tranquility, and relaxation you’ll experience here. Our host truly understands the impact of small details. The guest house is spacious, comfortable, and genuinely rejuvenating. We’ll definitely return during our next visit to this area. It’s an ideal home base for exploring Mt. Ranier, Gig Harbor, and all the activities in and around Seattle!

Chateau on the Sea is truly one of the best places we've ever stayed. It's stunningly beautiful. Private, yet close to restaurants and shops. The hosts were warm, friendly, and excellent communicators, ensuring that every need was met. The experience was absolutely magical, and we can't wait to go back.

One of the most beautiful and impeccably cared-for properties we’ve ever stayed at. The setting is simply gorgeous, and Shannon and Lorne were incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay special. They shared wonderful tips and insights about the local area, wildlife, flora, and fauna, which made the experience feel truly unique.The detached guest house is incredibly spacious, larger than many one-bedroom condos, and has absolutely everything you could need. It’s also clear that no expense was spared in the construction or design. Every detail, from the craftsmanship to the finishes, was of exquisite quality. The chateau itself reminded us of the beautiful chateaus we’ve visited in Bordeaux and throughout the South of France.Thank you, Shannon and Lorne, for such an amazing and memorable experience. We would absolutely love to return!

Absolutely fabulous place to stay in Gig Harbor! Views are spectacular, the guest house was beautiful and the host was lovely. I definitely recommend this for an individual or a couple who want to enjoy Gig Harbor at its best!

Heaven on Earth

Of all the vacation rentals we have stayed at to date, this is hands down the best in all our travels. An amazing estate with the greatest hosts ever. I will stay here every time I return to the area!!

Everything was perfect. We were visiting to explore the Gig Harbor area and Shannon provided a bunch of great recommendations (food, attractions, even a realtor). The guest home is excellent and we enjoyed several afternoons down by the waterfront with some wine. The weather was beautiful and Shannon and Lorne were terrific!
