Wonderful House

Great layout; large open room. King size beds in both bedrooms. Great location - good views front and back. Two very good and very crowded restaurants about a mile away.

Best place to stay in the Berkshires!

Hands down this was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at. The home is immaculately decorated and everything felt new. Loved the open great room feel and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed walking around the back of the property. The biggest mistake we made was booking the home for only two nights. We have friends who live nearby and next time we will stay much longer. Love what they did with this home!

Quiet and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay, although we basically only slept and ate breakfast at the house (we were attending Solid Sound at MASS MoCA). Very clean, quiet, spacious, and comfy beds. My husband and 9-year-old loved the hot tub. The only quibble we had was the air fresheners (too many and too strongly-scented) but that was easily remedied by unplugging them.

Wonderful Week at Heart’s Desire

My partner and I had a wonderful week at Heart’s Desire. Dean’s place is so spacious, well designed and outfitted with everything you could need (or want) for a vacation. We’re very keen hikers so having many great hiking options close by was a big plus for us. Dean made communication super easy and pleasant. We’ll definitely be back!

Anniversary stay

This was our second stay here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The property was clean and inviting when we arrived. There were a few small things that needed attention, and Susan came promptly to address them. The setting is spectacular in the fall with views of fields and mountains from the properly, and the fire pit and spa just add to the enjoyment. Definitely on the radar screen for another stay in the future!

Another great stay

This is our second year staying at Heart's Desire. It was as good, maybe even better, than we remembered :) This is one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Brand new appliances in the kitchen and laundry. The hot tub in the back is a great place to see some stars. The home is very private without feeling isolated. We hope to be back again next year :)

2nd Time Stay - Great Again

We are a family with small children that ski at Jiminy at least once a year. When we booked a weekend trip, we did not hesitate to rebook at Dean's Hearts Desire! It is just perfect all around. The place is in great shape, very comfortable and in ideal location to go to the mountain and be close to restaurants and stores for all the typical family needs. See you again!

Unforgettable Hearts Desire

The listing doesn't do justice to this place. The house is cozy, well maintained and clean, everything works. The location is great and there is a huge backyard to explore. Communication with Susan was great and she was very responsive and nice, like a true friend. We assisted to a wedding nearby and we took advantage to stay a few more days and having a great time. A beautiful place and a great house to come back...Truly recommended.

Wonderful stay

This is a very nice place to stay! It was very clean and VERY peaceful. The back deck is a great place to sit and relax during the morning and evening and just enjoy the view. Inside it was very comfortable and was just as described. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was large with modern appliances, and bathroom was also large with plenty of room for washer and dryer, too. Hot tub was a plus. Owners were friendly and property was close enough to towns where you can get food (many options) and supplies if you forgot anything (Target 5-10 minutes away). Would strongly recommend this property!

Charges added for no reason

Leading up to our stay, communication was fine with the owner. After we checked out, we were billed an extra for hot tub cleaning which we used for 20 minutes 1 time. When we inquired, the owner said that some smell was coming from the hot tub and decided that was our fault. Very unprofessional and would avoid this place unless ok with false charges after you leave.

60th bday girls getaway

A warm a wonderful getaway. This was a beautiful and relaxing place to spend the weekend if you are seeing a show at the Colonial Theater. We loved the comfort, the hot tub and the attention to detail put into the esthetic. Very responsive host.

A Home Away From Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Hearts Desire”! Everything was set up for our relaxation and enjoyment! The weather outside was terrible but the atmosphere in the house was warms and so comfortable. We were able to enjoy watching the tv which sometimes doesn’t give many choices in some other stays. We are definitely getting the game “Fake News or Not”! Lots of fun. If we plan on visiting the area again, we will definitely return! Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

We have been staying here at least once a year to ski at the nearby mountains for the past several years. The home is spotless and the amenities are top notch. The house has everything you need to cook a great meal, a huge TV for a cozy movie night, comfortable king beds and the awesome, squeaky clean hot tub. The home is far enough out of town so you feel like you're getting away, while being minutes away from attractions, restaurants and stores. Thank you for sharing your home! We're already looking forward to our next visit :)

Another amazing stay at Heart’s Desire!

This property is absolutely flawless. I’ve stayed there with my mom and aunt multiple times. Some things you can’t adequately convey with words. This home has a spirit; it gives you the most lovely feeling of warmth as soon as you pull in the driveway. I slept better in my three nights there than I have in months. We cannot wait to return!
