About this property
The Knotty Oak - Sugar Pine Cabin - House #2 of 3 Walk to Philo wineries/dinner!
Hi there,
The Knotty Oak Sugar Pine Cabin is set back off Highway 128 in downtown Philo, within walking distance of Scharffenberger, Baxter, Witching Stick & Weatherborne tasting rooms, Lemon's Market as well as Jumbo's Win Win Restaurant. Boonville is just a few miles east and Hendy Woods State Park with 800 acres of old growth redwoods trails is five minutes away. There are 3 bedrooms: a king bedroom and queen bedroom upstairs, and a double bedroom downstairs. There is a full bathroom on each floor, one of which has a bathtub. Both bathrooms have heated tile floors and Malin + Goetz bath products.
The kitchen is a cook's dream with a Thermador Five Star Range, Frigidaire dishwasher and fully restored 1930's GE fridge. There's also a big wood deck off the sliding door in the dining room for outdoor hanging out and a double hammock. The cabin has custom curtains, mid century furniture and lots of quirky touches. We did a full restoration of the house and people have been loving it. We hope you do too!
We did a full restoration of the property using mostly salvaged materials and kept the cool vibes of the log cabin but with a mix of modern and vintage, nice touches like heated bathroom floors, updated lighting, a killer kitchen, and retro things like old Anderson Valley yearbooks used as wallpaper.
There are two other homes listed: The Knotty Oak Homestead (House 1 of 3) and The Knotty Oak Schoolhouse (House 3 of 3) for a total of 12 bedrooms if you have a large group. We also love to host weddings and private events under a separate contract so hit us up if you would like to know more about that.
We also have a website you can see photos of the whole property....just look up The Knotty Oak online and you'll love what you see!
If you have any questions, please send us a note. Sometimes we can also host a one night stay, so ask us if that's possible.
We accept pets - $100 per pet - with prior approval. Please let us know who you're traveling with and we will get back to you right away.
Please note it is a no smoking property. Thank you for looking!
