Ocean Tree House - Mountain Views, Wrap Around Balcony, Privacy and Serenity

Our lovely beach house perches high in the tree tops with serene mountain and forest views. Sip your morning coffee while viewing wildlife and birds on the wrap around balcony. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire in our cozy high vaulted ceiling cabin with hardwood floors throughout the house.

We offer free wireless internet, a flat-screen HDTV with free Netflix and Apple+ streaming and an assortment of games and books. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and an assortment of condiments and teas.

The master bedroom suite comes with a large attached master bath complete with jacuzzi tub. Both bedrooms are fully appointed with comfortable queen-sized beds, quality mattresses, and premium linens. We provide quality eco/friendly soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Stroll our beautiful private beach: You will have access to our community's private beach with over 5 miles of beautiful sandy beach for long strolls, surf fishing and exploring tide pools. The beach is a 12 minute walk or can be accessed by a 4 min car ride with our electronic gate pass. You can also explore and stroll around the nearby Irish Beach pond, a short walk from the house.

Please note there is a short steep driveway to the house and one flight of stairs into the house (first level is garage).

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure garage door opener back in the lock box by the garage and beach access key back in the house
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Use of fire candles not allowed.
Please no loud music or loud noise after 10 PM due to Irish Beach noise curfew.
No dogs on furniture unless you bring your own blanket to place between your dog and the furniture. Cats are never allowed.

Peaceful Paradise

The Ocean Tree House is an amazing place to stay. The home is clean and comfortable. It's fun for kids, and adults, to feed and watch the different birds come eat. Also the deck is great for stargazing at night. This is a lovely little gem in Irish Beach.

Love this house!

This is our second trip to this wonderful little treehouse. It’s tiny cozy has an amazing patio with the birdfeeder. The host has provided all the comfort of home and a lovely and cozy environment.

weekend getaway

The Ocean Tree House is the perfect weekend getaway! The rooms were clean and all well appointed, the stove in the living room was perfect to warm the cabin on our rainy days and nights and the private beach just down the road was the perfect spot for the whole family to take in the beautiful rustic northern California coast. Cecile was quick to respond to our questions and left clear instructions. We will definitely be going back!

Quaint costal hideaway!

This property was perfect. Spent 2 nights there. Beds were incredibly comfortable and home was spacious and had great amenities. I love getting off the grid but for those who yearn for connectivity if you walk outside you can get a faint signal Wraparound deck has gorgeous views into the forest and toward the coast. Just a short walk was a pond with picnic tables and a walking path. Tanya was very attentive and helpful. Perfect, quiet coastal getaway!

Great getaway

We had a wonderful time in our Tree House vacation. It snowed, it rained, it hailed, we had sunshine. It was all wonderful. Great beach walks in between rain squalls. Just note that the front stairs are quite steep and you need you stamina to unload and load your car. We are boh seniors so maybe better for the younger set. The house has a cozy wood stove for heat that kept us warm It was nice to be able to keep the car in the garage. We enjoyed ourselves.

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I had a very relaxing week here. The home is well stocked. We cooked or BBQ'd every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and family room furniture. The grocery store in Manchester has full line of food, etc. We enjoyed the Adirondack chairs on the deck as well as folding beach chairs we found in a bdrm closet. Also had fun at the private beach, drove there since too steep to walk it. We were thankful to be able to park in the garage since the driveway is also very steep. The only reason I didn't give this a full 5-star rating is because of the bright sun glaring on the family room wall from 5-7:30 pm everyday due to the large windows on the top of west-facing wall not having window covers.

It’s a nice little house with amazing views. I stayed there with my dog which was allowed and it was more house than needed. There is private beach access but I recommend getting groceries on the way. There are not many close restaurants but the kitchen is fully equipped!

Loved the birds!

This place was amazing! I loved feeding the birds and watching them while I had my morning breakfast and coffee. I was only there a few days and I do recommend the horse beach ride. Beautiful scenery everywhere in that area. We drove to a few other beaches and explored them too and went to the lighthouse

I feel renewed.

My week at Ocean Tree House was perfect. It's so quiet and peaceful - just what I wanted. There were lots of birds, foxes, and deer. Irish Beach is huge and not usually many people. The owner couldn't have been more accomodating. I highly recommend this home.

Perfect for Christmas

as a long time resident of Irish Beach, I am very familiar with all the vacation rentals. When it came time to book a rental for my daughter and family, this was my choice. The home and property is well maintained and regularly upgraded. The sheltered location protects it from the often nasty northwest prevailing wind making the outside deck warm and sunny. It is in a quiet area with few other rentals. It is just a nice cozy spot.

Comfortable bed, pretty comforter on bed. Spotless and user friendly bathrooms, very relaxing living room. We did not use the wood stove for heating because the temperature was quite comfortable. Highly recommend this home. Garage was a real plus.

A Home Away from Home

The wonderful Ocean Tree House could be described as Organic, Artistic and Peaceful! All the teas and bathroom products are organic and the home design and decorations are quite artistic... Loved the round window in the master bath and the peaceful tub. A wonderful spacious deck surrounded by trees and the sound of the ocean waves crashing at the shore. The home is well furnished with all the necessities in the kitchen, bathrooms and beach supplies. The private beach is a special place to enjoy the ocean experience. Wifi and TV was perfect with Netflix, Prime and my favorite Apple TV provided. It's good to notice the steep driveway and many stairs to climb to the tree house making it challenging for the mobility challenged individuals... Overall is truly a Home Away from Home! and we loved it...

Cool hideaway

Property was exactly as stated. Very comfortable 3 days. It had everything we needed. During our first day the fog did not lift but when it did, on subsequent days, the view was beautiful. We were glad to have visited the area on our tour of California.

Quet, Clean, and Pretty

I can't say enough how much I loved this place. The views from the windows into the trees or the wildflowers were amazing. There's SO MANY gorgeous birds here. It feels like a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked with any pots, pans, dishes, or appliances you might need. The beds were comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub was glorious. We had a couple questions and the property owners responded quickly. We will be back next year!
