Enjoy views of Lake Conroe among the beautiful rolling hills and golf courses of April Sound Country Club community where you can access the amenities with a temporary membership for $100 per family. Our single family 3 bed 2.5 bath 1800 sqft. built in 2007 backs up to a greenbelt where from the 2nd floor balcony you can watch the sunset over Lake Conroe. Our elevated spacious deck with pergola, gas grill and firepit allow you to savor your dinner outdoors or lounge under the shade. Bring your boat or jet skis and park in the 2-car garage or spacious driveway. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of amenities, animals welcome, friendly neighbors and very safe neighborhood gated entrance.

Great place to stay

We were up in Conroe for a family wedding. The place was very accommodating and the hosts were very easy to work with. I would strongly recommend this home and plan on staying again.

We stayed at the April Lake house for a sisters' weekend. The house was the cleanest VRBO property that we've rented. I enjoyed watching the thunderstorms roll in from the covered back porches. The community pool was also amazing. We grew pretty fond of the recliner couch for watching old movies.

Very nice house and great location

We stayed with our daughter, son in law and two teenagers. The house is very nice and roomy. Very clean and lots of supplies such as shampoo, conditioners, trash bags, coffee, kitchen tools….. Whenever we had a question, the response was really quick.

Siblings weekend with our husbands

The property was as advertised, we enjoyed the two nights. We were not at the property except to sleep, spent our time out and about. Only one of the guest rooms bed was more for younger children, uncomfortable for a couple in there 50s. If we were to return, we would consider staying again depending on the number of people in our party.

Inside ++ Outside -

My first response was thrilling. I've never been in a cleaner VRBO. The housekeeping staff did an impeccable job. The house is nicely arranged and easy to live in. Most furniture is comfortable and useful. We stayed upstairs and not in the master bedroom until the last evening as to stage our departure. The bedroom with a walk out second floor deck has a mattress befitting a child's weight. All mattresses have a mattress cover that doesn't breathe making sleep a bit sweaty. However, the other two bedrooms have comfortable mattresses. The second floor deck was fun for morning coffee giving a glimpse of lake, sky, and birds. The kitchen was easy and roomy for cooking, but kitchen supplies were limited. We always bring kitchen gear and I unpack what I need. Lacking: Measuring utensils, casserole dish or two, mixing bowls of various sizes, water/tea pitcher, handmixer. Plenty: Great knives, two coffee makers, a blender, and toaster. Average: dishes, glasses and utensils. I believe the owner is working through maintenance issues, but there is no water source to the refrigerator or a broken ice maker and water disperser. I bought pitchers to solve this and froze the tea or water for several hours ahead of time. The back deck is unsafe as it bounces as you walk across it. The area closest to the kitchen has been worked on, the grill works great, there's a table, but we did not use other areas of the deck. Do not count area for entertaining. Local wedding

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding near by. The location was very convenient and the house was just as listed. Everything went smoothly and the host responds to emails right away. We appreciated how the home had ample supplies when arrived: paper towels, tp, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, coffee, tea, creamers, condiments and spices, foil etc. It made our stay stress free and provided the basics that other hosts seem to forget that people traveling would need in a vacation rental. The kitchen has everything you might want to use. Highly recommend staying here.

We were visiting the area so we could attend TRF. What a pleasure to stay at such a lovely well maintained property. Julie answered all questions quickly and kindly even when I contacted her on Thanksgiving day! We had plenty of room for 6 adults. We will definitely stay here again! Exceeded all expectations!!!

The house is in beautiful condition and the April Sound community is very friendly and there are lots of activities that go on at the country club but the best part is the patio and second floor balcony that really allow you to enjoy the lake and very quiet lush garden landscape.
