Our family of 6 loved this place! We explored Conagree both days here and then spent the rest of the days running around outside on the property. Wonderful place!

So glad your family enjoyed their time with us. It was wonderful to hear all the laughter while everyone was outside.
Amazing location! The house is very private. We used it as a base camp to explore Congaree National Park and the Columbia area. The host was wonderful, quick to respond to any questions. Easy check in / check out. Would highly recommend this property.

Thank you Dalia! Glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your next visit 😊
We really enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have spent more time on site enjoying the secluded setting with the flowering plants and singing birds. Would definitely come back if ever in the area again. Close to Congaree NP and nice drive to historic Columbia.
Incredibly clean, well stocked, beautiful property nestled in the woods. Debbie’s space had plenty of room, a gorgeous yard, fire pit, and had extra charges, soaps, coffee, any pot/pans you could need and even a griddle! I would highly recommend this stay to anyone traveling to the area and looking for a nice, quiet, clean, spacious property for their getaway!

Thank you! We are always happy to hear when guest enjoy Cedar Creek Cottage. Hope you can stay again in the future.
LOVED! This place was super clean- no dust bunnies, no hair, or tissues behind the bed (yes i look); all baseboards very clean. The perfect dustfree environment was appreciated by my allergy suffering and particular wife (me). The front porch was delightful to read while listening to the busy bees and birds, and smelling the beautiful pink rose bush. The antique decor and the charming creeking wood floor made this place feel like a B&B in the most positive way. Every detail anticipated and provided. This morning we were greeted by Daisy and 2 of her friends, along with a tree frog who insisted on remaining in the kitchen (he relented to the front porch). This might be our favotite vrbo and, considering we are retired and use 5-6 per year, is very high praise from us. Thank you for a perfect stay. Highest recommendation. I wish all vrbo’s had your standards.
Perfect place to stay to go to Congaree NP. We loved getting to meet the dogs as they patrolled the property. Great table for playing board games and great views to of th e bird feeders. Enjoyed the birds and squirrels way more than I would have thought.

About the host
Hosted by Debbie Davis
John & Rusty are brothers and they grew up on the property. Both love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, building/remodeling and chatting with the guests. Lynn & Debbie are friends as well as sister-in-laws and they put the finishing touches on what John and Rusty build. Both love new adventures and making our guests feel comfortable.
Why they chose this property
Cedar Creek Cottage is located on family land with a long history.. Nature is waiting for you right outside the door. It is not uncommon to see deer walking through the yard, and an array of birds on the feeders. It is a quick trip to Congaree National Park or Columbia to see all the capital city has to offer then come back and relax on the porch or by the fire pit and look at the stars.
What makes this property unique
Cedar Creek Cottage is fully stocked with everything you will need to be comfortable. Easy access and ample parking. There is a lot of history on the property and you are free to walk around and explore. We have chickens, goats and a miniature donkey; if you wish to visit with them just let Debbie know. We love our peaceful setting and hope you will as well.
