This charming home sits right on the beautiful and exciting Coosawattee River. The back yard is level to the water's edge where the setting is truly park like. With a fire pit and seating you'll probably find yourself spending a lot of time here just enjoying the rushing waters of this great river. The house itself has plenty of windows for river viewing and is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The large great room has a wood burning fireplace and beautiful wood floors and walls for that warm comfy feeling. When the day is over everyone can hang out by the riverfront fire pit. If you are looking for a wonderful vacation with plenty of memories then look no further! This getaway hotspot is conveniently located in Ellijay, home of the famous "Georgia Apple Festival" and only about 25 minutes from historic downtown Blue Ridge where unique shopping and fabulous dining await you.

King master bedroom on the upper level with 50' Smart TV, private deck, with jetted tub

Great room with wood-burning fireplace ( a starter bundle of firewood provided Oct 1-April 1), and 50' Smart TV

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more that this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

We have had so many compliments and questions about our stay and how they can book a vacation as well. We had a an amazing time in Ellijay Ga and can't wait for our next trip. The locals were very friendly and offered different things to do in the area as well. Katelyn went above and beyond to help us book this last minute trip. She answered all of our questions. Overall stay was great. Cleanliness was not up to our expectations. Hair on bathroom floor and dog hair on bed sheets. Downstairs bath tub drain needs to be cleaned, drains very slow. Bathroom mirror needed cleaning. Pictures, lamps, and bathroom lights needed dusting. Appliances in kitchen could use updating (cracks in kitchen sink). Team members were very nice and clear with email communications.

A few issues with moon river. The fan remote for back porch doesn't work properly. Maintenance man turned up t-stat at least on the upper element for the water heater. Helped a bit. Either bottom t-stat need some adjustments or bottom element is bad. 2 short showers at best before hot water ran out.(I've been in rental maintenance for over 30 years). Could have had more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, we were there for 5 night's. Sliding screen doors were nearly inoperable. I guess they were replacement screens and not adjusted properly. Light switches at entry and back door,and at bottom of stairs could be labeled. Only saying this because of difficulty in figuring them out. We would like these issues fixed before returning. Can't remember the names, but each took care of my requests without any problems.
