From the moment you arrive, you know you've found your small bit of paradise. Beautifully decorated, and rustic, with all the amenities, Riverside Retreat is one of Sliding Rock Cabins' perfect family getaways. The cabin offers a large tree-lined deck overlooking the ELLIJAY RIVER with a sunken hot tub. Enjoy your time away from reality have a drink by the water, grill out in the evening, fly fish in the river or just have a snooze by the roaring riverside fire-pit. You will truly never want to leave this cabin. Riverside Retreat is a 3 bedroom 2 bath, log home, with WIFI, Screened porch, firepit. Fenced Area, Dog Friendly with no pet fees. no cats please.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. New Years on the River

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous stay at Riverside Retreat. This area is one of our favorites in Ellijay. The cabin had everything we needed and we were able to relax. Our only suggestion would be to make the "fenced" yard a little more secure and a little bigger. We had no issues but the neighboring rental had dogs running loose and had ours been out at the same time, they would have been able to push the fence over. Other than that, we are completely satisfied with the property and will be putting on our list for future rentals.

Quiet River Escape

Check in was easy having a lock box with the key and a code text prior to arrival. Kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook or grill there with ease. I much appreciate the deck which made getting waterside with a wheelchair very easy. It’s quiet, with easy access into the Ellijay river from the back yard. The cabin, although small, was well furnished and comfortable. Lots of wild life. All enjoyed the stay even our two pups.

Went there for a 4 day weekend trip and it was amazing! The view was breathtaking! We relaxed, grilled, went hiking and ended our day floating down the river! Highly recommend booking this cabin!!!

What a wonderful Holiday stay at Riverside Retreat! Our family had a great time as we cooked, sat by the fire and enjoyed the beautiful deck and large area overlooking the river. We will be back as we have always had fabulous experiences at all the sliding rock cabins that we have stayed at! Everything you could want for a family gathering in comfort. Liked the cabin right on the water. The kids were able to play in the water. Great deck area and fire pit to be outside. Location was great as far as close to towns. Front door was a pain to deal with and should be taken care of for future guests.
