Our Alaska trip was truly amazing. The surrounding landscape was beyond what I expected and the people are very kind. Our Vrbo was very comfortable and homey. The home sits on a very large beautiful lot in a quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend this home for your family vacation.

Alaska adventure with grandchildren

House was wonderfully clean, decorated, stocked, and well communicated from owner. It was a perfect location for our adventures, both north to Denali, west to glacier dog sledding, south to river fishing. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to see Alaska.

Alaska

This home was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The decor was all about Alaska. All the little things were thought of and the owners left a very helpful manual which listed local cuisine and excursions. Also answered any questions that we may have had about the property.

If you're for nice quiet place to stay with the family then look no further! The neighborhood is very laid back with lots of room between houses. This house is set at the back of its lot which gives you a giant front yard to play in. There are two small decks perfect for morning coffee. The inside of the house has a comfortable, welcoming feel. Overall, nice country type charm.

True home away from home

We had a fantastic stay in this house. Absolutely everything we could have needed was there--Alaska information galore, laundry and fans to clean up and dry out after adventures, spices for cooking. And many things beyond--beautiful flowers! Ice-cream maker! The place is immaculately kept. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Alaska 2024

We had a great stay at Cindy’s place. The house was very comfortable and we even entertained 6 other people one night for dinner and had plenty of plates and silverware! The grounds are beautiful and loved having coffee in the am and looking out into the front yard!

quiet and comfortable

This house was a cozy and quiet space. We enjoyed the many kitchen appliances and cookware. The bedrooms could use some mirrors and the bathroom off of the laundry room could use an outlet for a hair dryer but other than that, it was overall a nice experience!

Thanks Patty, Glad to hear you enjoyed the house and were comfortable. We do have small mirrored artwork in the bedrooms, definitely too small for much more than for taking a peak to see how you look, the bathroom mirrors would be recommended for anything else. I agree, it would be awesome if the utility bathroom had been wired for electric! In lieu of that I do have a power strip just outside the bathroom door on the office desk; I imagined people could plug in their grooming tools. and utilize the bathroom mirror or the full length mirror next to the office desk for styling. I appreciate your suggestions!

Repeat Stay; Even Better than the 1st Time!

This great property keeps getting even better! Attention to detail, artistic, open, great flow, super clean, upscale, well equipped and then some, with lots of "new" - these hosts really outdo themselves with this peaceful, well-kept property that is completely dedicated to the guests experience. Hard to believe it could get better, but it did.

Nice and cozy

Beautiful property, very well maintained. Quiet neighborhood. Prime location with easy access to surrounding tourist attractions and local activities outside of Anchorage. The host, Cynthia, was very attentive and responsive during our entire stay. Not being used to the summer time in Alaska, I texted a question at 11:30pm, and she responded right away. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Alaska sightseeing

Had a great stay at your property. Had plenty of room for everyone. Property was in a great location for our outings to sightsee SE Alaska without being stuck in a city. Cynthia was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. The "House book" was very helpful, with suggestions on local resturants and events. Lots of great art work and tastefully decorated. Thanks for a great stay. Arnold
