About this property
Apartment Kristina within renovated old house with flair near Innsbruck
Newly renovated apartment for a relaxing holiday of up to 6 persons in well maintained surrounding near Hall in Tyrol and Innsbruck. About 90 m2 large, well equipped, modern kitchen. Parking place at the house, bus stop in 5 min distance.
The apartment is in the first floor of a more than one hundred years old, but very well kept building. The flat contains everything you need for a relaxing holiday and more than that: two sleeping rooms with double beds, one extra bed and one high chair for a child, living room with sofa bed for two persons to sleep on, a rural dining room with a large table for six, small, comfortable kitchen, bath/shower, pleasant big balcony with parasol and markis,a realy fantastik view of the mountains. In the celler is a dry room for skis and boots. Parking for two cars.
Board games, small library (mostly in German) are available. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, , microwave, electric handheld mixer, coffee machine ironing board and iron. Technical equipment: TV, parabol,WLAN, internet radio .In the cellar washing machine, dryer and a second toilet.
Around Absam and Hall the guests find everything the Tyrolean mountain landscape can offer for their relaxation, including easy walking paths, more exposed Alpine trails, or "via ferrata" like the famous Innsbruck fixed rope route that begins on the Hafelekar, which is, for example, a really worthwhile experience for summiteers.
But you can also relax with swimming fun in small lakes in the surrounding, or in the outdoor pool of the "Haller Freischwimmbad". In winter the Olympic and non-olympic descents of the environs of Innsbruck and others, a little further away are easily reached, from the Glungezer and Patscherkofel nearby (15-20 min driving), the Axamer Lizum (40 min driving) to the Stubai glacier (50-60 min driving).
Hall in Tyrol was famous for its (now closed) salt mine in the Halltal, opened around 800 AD. The medieval old town of Hall is well maintained and certainly worthwile to visit. Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, is only 10 km away and can be easily reached by bus. You find culture and tradition in the two cities, in Innsbruck also good shopping opportunities.
There is much to discover in the surrounding. One of these places is the Swarovski Kristallwelten (crystal worlds), the second most frequented spot in Austria, presenting a magical menagerie of art installations, museum and a theme park. I welcome you as my guest, you are heartily welcome!

About the host
Hosted by Kristina Ravelli
I am an Austrian physiotherapist, living since 1973 in Sweden. I grew up in this house owned by our family for about one hiundred years, and inherited the apartment in the first floor recently. When I am in Tyrol, I stay in this apartment, when it is vacant I try to rent it.
Why they chose this property
The house was bought almost one hundred years ago by my great-grandfather. It is situated in a very quiet surrounding, which is, however, not out of the world. My guests can walk over the fields to the village of Absam, with a well known pilgrimage church. The apartment is well placed for walking, hiking, mountaineering and climbing, and in winter for skiing of course. If the sun is not shining or you want to relax from sports, visit the medieval city of Hall in Tyrol (15-20 mins walking) or the capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck (40 mins by bus).
What makes this property unique
The area is well suited for tourists of almost every age. I grew up in this house. If you want to relax and have it a little easier, you might enjoy the big balcony
