This house was the perfect getaway for our family vacation with four couples and three kids. There is enough room for everyone to be together and enough separate spaces for everyone when needed. The beach was amazing and even though it’s just a couple lots away from beach driving access, it never felt too crowded. The pics still show a sand path to the beach but there is boardwalk access shared with the home next door. The views are amazing from each of the decks but the sunrise from the rooftop was a fan fav of our family each morning. Thanks for an amazing and memorable stay in this special home!

The house was perfect for hosting 7 guests. There was plenty of room to be together, and enough space throughout the house that we could spread out. Not every house has a kitchen table that can accommodate a large group, which we appreciated. The views and beach access were amazing! We didn’t need to contact the host for a thing during our stay, and all our pre-travel questions were answered quickly.

loved our stay at the Mermaid castle. The house was beautiful and had amazing views. Its steps from the beach so we were able to be back and forth from the water without breaking a sweat. The host was amazing and responded to questions in a timely manner and even came out to the property for some quick maintenance that was requested. 100% would book again.

Loved this property . Great location. Very nicely decided. Recommend this property.

My only concerns was the doors locking securely and the public access and parking is next to house and directly in front of house and beach.

Hi Donna, The house has 3 point locking doors, which are more safe than standard doors. There are labels on the doors explaining how to lock them and they are very secure. All of the beaches on Amelia Island are public so we have no control over other people being on the beach by the house!

Our stay at the house was amazing. The home was perfect for our group. The view was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and we especially enjoyed the living room area adjacent to the master room on the third level. Lovely 2-day stay on the beach

Celebrated 60 at the Mermaid Castle with Girlfriends. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and beach views amazing. Perfect retreat for a family or friend holiday together with many private areas to have alone time if needed. The sunrise from the top terrace was spectacular!

The Mermaid Castle was perfect. Very well appointed and just as advertised. It was the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in. Views were killer, especially from the roof deck. Beds were comfortable and the AC unit worked wonderfully and kept the house very comfortable. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful house.
