Amelia Island - Amelia by the Sea Private Fishing Pier, Tennis Courts

Important Update: Beginning March 2025, Amelia by the Sea will undergo vital structural improvements to ensure our property's long-term beauty and safety. While we're excited about these enhancements, we want to be upfront with you: construction work, including concrete and steel repairs, will create noise during daytime hours for approximately 12 months. Construction Hours are 8am-5:30 M-F, no work on weekends.
We value your vacation experience and understand that peaceful oceanfront moments are precious. If you're considering a stay with us during this period, please factor this into your planning. Our team is happy to provide more specific details about the construction schedule to help you make the best decision for your stay.

We at Seahorse Amelia Vacations understand that where you stay is just as important as your chosen destination. If you are looking for a private high-rise condo with pristine views of the ocean, we have a fully renovated condo just for you!  

This Amelia by the Sea oceanfront condo is a 3 bedroom 2 bath located on the third floor that gives you perfect views overlooking the fishing pier and ocean.   Brand-new furnishings and a gorgeously upgraded kitchen will make you feel right at home.  There is a beautiful ocean view from the master bedroom equipped with a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with double vanities.  You can start your day from the balcony of your bedroom and enjoy your sunrise and sunset. Bring the family and friends as there are 2 guest bedrooms.  One has a queen and the other room has a Bunk bed (Double and Twin) along with a twin bed. 

The renovated kitchen has new granite countertops, updated cabinets, and stainless-steel appliances.  The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook and host meals for your family and friends and is open to a roomy living and dining area. There is no bad view from the living room which boasts spectacular panoramas of the ocean. The condo comes with all the amenities of a home with Wi-Fi and cable TV, in the living room. No need to overpack and bring extra clothes as there is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Of course, we know you’ll want to spend time outdoors at the beach or exploring our quaint little island.

Beautiful property

We absolutely loved staying at this Amelia by the Sea property. The views are amazing, the location is close to everything, and the private areas such as the pier and pool area can't be beat. Access to the beach is just seconds away and the unit has everything you need.

Very nice condo

This condo has been tastefully renovated and has a great ocean view. The pier is fun for fishing and is the only private pier on the island. We were able to see fireworks on the beach in both directions - downtown Fernandina’s and the Ritz (I think) We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Lovely views. Condo kitchen very nice and well equipped. Master suite very nice. Living space roomy and very nice. 2nd bathroom too small for the additional 6 guests and bathroom, poorly constructed, cabinet drawers do not work. Exterior stairwell grimy with pieces of construction material and rotted food left on some of the landings. Front deck overlooking the ocean is lovely with good seating. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable

The condo was beautiful. Great location to the beach, elevators, fishing pier and pool. The only negative thing I can say was the neighbors above us. They evidently had a ping pong table and they played a couple of nights until 1 am. Not great for a 4 year old and older parents. I know that wasn’t the condo owners fault other than that I would say it was fantastic!

Construction-NO communication-Do Not Recommend

Construction 2 floors down, our whole week. Grinding and hammering. 8am-4pm - non stop. ABTS management group said that the building group is not responsible to tell them if construction was on hand. They blamed the management group, but in reality it is ABTS’s responsibility to make tenants aware. A 10% discount doesn’t make up for all the disturbances

Beuatiful Condo!

The condo is beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you would need and very clean. The renovations were very tastefully done. If I had to make recommendations it would be a new couch. It is very worn out and uncomfortable. Also, the beautiful driftwood table can be slightly dangerous for children and elderly. Not a huge deal but my dad bumped into one of the sharp edges and tore his arm open. The sharp wooden points on the table could be problematic if a child were to fall into it. Just a suggestion for liability purposes. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in May 2024.

Beautiful Living Space with a Gorgeous View

Beautifully remodeled condo with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the pier. The view is possibly even better than it appears in the photos! The living area is beautiful, the air conditioning works great, and there are a variety of streaming services on the tv that we really enjoyed. The rental agency was responsive when we had a question. The condo’s deck is wide and comfortable. The private pier is nice for a walk, a sit, and fishing. The condo grounds are very well maintained. The pool and sunning area are comfortable with charcoal (not gas) grills. You can walk miles and miles on the beach (accessible via a short boardwalk from the condo grounds). It seems to be a quiet section of the beach, never too crowded. Beach towels are provided at the condo, beach chairs are not. There is no hot tub or exercise room at the condo. The building is however across the street and one block down from a lovely 3-mile paved bike/walk/run trail. In general, this is a great area for outdoor activities. We rented bikes and rode on the bike lane to Egan’s Creek Greenway, onto Ft. Clinch State Park, and then back via the beach at low tide. There is hiking nearby at Big Talbot and Little Talbot Islands and the Timucuan Preserve (part of the National Park Service). Downtown Fernandina beach is about a 10-minute drive away with plenty of shopping and dining options. There is a very good, casual restaurant directly across the street (and the cheapest gas station on the island is right across the street too!). There are a huge variety of dining options available all over Amelia Island, it is well worth exploring. This was our first time visiting Amelia Island and we very much enjoyed the area and the condo. There are limited amenities (no: hot tub, exercise room, gas grills, beach chairs, and an unheated pool) but overall, a beautiful beachfront condo, and an excellent rental option.

Wonderful Stay!

We rented this property for a 50th birthday girls trip. It was a perfect set up. The management company had balloons (a 5 and 0) in the condo when we arrived. It was a very nice touch. We were there for a week and didn't need a thing. There are beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit. The patio had a seating area and a table with chairs/stools. The view is gorgeous and the unit is literally steps from the beach.
