The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighborhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away.

Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and there are plenty of shops and cafés.

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the kitchen is also fully equipped with:

Refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, electric cooker and oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, kettle, dishwasher.

The counter with bar stools is an additional space for dining.

Great location and apartment

Great place in middle of city to get to many locations, perfect for those who aren’t really club people or prefer a more laid back location. Local restaurants around and not as touristy as old-town. Bathroom and kitchen are very good for a stay and very easy to clean. Had a good time and didn’t spend too much here either!

Perfect location, great stay

The property was as advertised and Jose was a wonderful host from check-in to check-out. We stayed for 4 days with our kids and this was the perfect location to explore Barcelona from. Apartment was in a safe neighborhood with plenty of amenities. Would recommend.

I was in town for business travel and the few hotels that were available were much more expensive and not in areas of town where you could explore in the evening. The apartment was very nice, well maintained, and in a great area to be able to get everywhere.

Our stay in Barcelona was great. Our apartment was located right in the middle of a few very popular destinations. Wonderful apartment!

We loved staying in this apartment! Jose, the owner, met us at the apartment and gave us a brief, but thorough explanation of the how everything worked and reviewed a few key places to visit on the Barcelona map. He also made recommendations for places to eat that were delicious! The apartment is in a residential, very safe area. It was quiet, well stocked and very comfortable. He was also very accessible and checked in with us at the end of our stay to see if he could call a cab for us to get us back to the airport. Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely go back!

Fabulously central apartment. Jose is a great host and provided lots of good restaurant tips for us. The apartment is very small (we were 4 and it was a squeeze) and quite old fashioned (our travel chargers would not fit the plugs for example). But it was clean, cool and met our needs for a few days in Barcelona. Would recommend for a couple rather than a family.

I read the prior reviews before starting this and came to the conclusion there isn't really anything I could add other than a concurrence with the prior comments. This was the first time we had used this type of accommodations and were totally pleased with them and Jose.

great location,great host, great apt

We had a very good experience at this apt. Jose was very helpful, gave specific details regarding our needs and there was nothing left to be desired, right down to a complete set of cookware and spices to suffice for a family of 5. We stayed cool in the heat of the summer and he met us there w/the place already air conditioned & comfortable. We'd set off for the beach early, head back in the evening and have a nice relaxing place to settle in, eat, talk and plan our next days adventure. Thank you Jose!

Why they chose this property

I bought this apartment in 1997, and it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing I need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that I like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the apartment as a my own home. Since them I have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later I decided to by four additional apartment in the same building and for the same reasons.
