The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighborhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away.

Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and there are plenty of shops and cafés.

A short stroll through these beautiful streets takes you right to the centre, with the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions.

The master bedroom has 1 double bed, side-tables, lamps and a large closet. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, side-table and lamp, with sufficient closet space.

In the lounge, the sofa is converted into 1 double bed.

The bathroom has a shower, WC.

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the kitchen is also fully equipped with:

Refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, electric cooker and oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, kettle, dishwasher.

Great location and apartment

Great place in middle of city to get to many locations, perfect for those who aren’t really club people or prefer a more laid back location. Local restaurants around and not as touristy as old-town. Bathroom and kitchen are very good for a stay and very easy to clean. Had a good time and didn’t spend too much here either!

Perfect location for first time in Barcelona

The location and host Jose make an excellent combination for first time visitors to Barcelona! We had easy access to main points of interest, and great restaurants. Jose helped us select and plan our activities to make the most of our first time here.

Great 4 night stay in barcelona

This apartment is in a great location and well maintained. It's within walking distance to most of the major tourist attractions, yet in a nice residential area. Jose was great with explaining everything and being there for all your questions and needs during your stay. Would definitely stay again!

Jose was perfect host

Jose’s apartment was in excellent location in family neighborhood so very quiet at night. Lots of cafes and small markets nearby. Also about 10 minute walk to Sagrada Família and Arc de Triompe

great location,great host, great apt

We had a very good experience at this apt. Jose was very helpful, gave specific details regarding our needs and there was nothing left to be desired, right down to a complete set of cookware and spices to suffice for a family of 5. We stayed cool in the heat of the summer and he met us there w/the place already air conditioned & comfortable. We'd set off for the beach early, head back in the evening and have a nice relaxing place to settle in, eat, talk and plan our next days adventure. Thank you Jose!

Wonderful host and great location

Jose is the ultimate host! Extremely nice and very helpful. We accidentally locked our keys in the apartment and Jose not only retrieved them for us, he brought them to us on his motorbike! The apartment is very well serviced with many amenities nearby, and within easy walking distance to many places of interest. We were able to walk everywhere, and were happy to be staying in this part of the city (as opposed to the very busy old city). We had a wonderful stay, in large measure due to Jose's outstanding hospitality. Thank you Jose!

Fantastic Location in an Amazing City!!

We were so pleased to stay in Jose's apartment in Barcelona. The neighborhood was wonderful. Great places to eat and grab essentials right there. So easy to walk anywhere you wanted to go in the city from the apartment. Jose shared a map and showed us the easiest way to get around as well as marking some places not to miss. Apartment was well-suited for our stay with 2 bedrooms. Jose also was kind enough to call a car for us to get to the airport early one morning which made everything so much simpler. Apartment was fantastic and Jose was wonderful!! Will definitely stay there again!! Thanks Jose!

Nice Apartment in Excellent Location with a Very Helpful Owner

Jose, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful. Quick to reply to any of our enquiries even before we arrived in Barcelona. The apartment was located in a very quiet neighbourhood with easy access to restaurants, markets and the Metro. Excellent location. The apartment was immaculate with all necessary supplies. Jose (the owner) met us and made sure we were well oriented to the apartment and neighbourhood. Also, circled all sites to be seen on a map he provided to us. We highly recommend this apartment. Having Jose's telephone number and email was a plus for a feeling of safety.

Nice place, great owner

We stayed four nights in this very nice apartment. Two minor things. The mattress in the larger bed is hard. We liked it but those who prefer softer might not be as comfortable. Also, the ventilation in the bedrooms is good but not great. It was pretty cool during our visit so we never used the air-conditioner. Jose, the manager, is amazing. He was so helpful to us! We liked the neighborhood a lot and you can easily get everywhere from there. Recommend.

Perfect location for a Barcelona vacation!

This apartment is located in the Eixample district - a beautiful neighborhood with the shops and restaurants that the locals use. Close enough to many sites but far enough away for a quiet evening! I traveled with my husband and teenage daughter and we were able to walk to many areas of the city directly and used the Metro to go the farther points. Jose met us promptly as we arrived and showed us how to work the appliances and heat. The apartment was spotless and everything is in good working order. The bedrooms are in the back of the building so no noise will wake you. A very nice supermarket is just one block away as well as multiple cafes and restaurants. I would not hesitate to rent from Jose - he answers all questions promptly and is extremely helpful.

Sagrada Apartment

Nice quiet area, safe and friendly. 24 hr pizza and kebab place right round corner, 5 mins walk from Tetuan metro station. The beaches and Las Ramblas within 25 mins walk, Sagrada Familia 10 mins, small supermarket and bakers across the road, large supermarket round the corner. The owner Jose kindly hung around for us when our flight was delayed - not everyone would do this! The apartment has wifi, which was very useful, and a handy stereo system. Washing machine, dishwasher, air-con, etc all there. The apartment wasn't spotless on this occassion; we've told Jose about this, so I'm sure he'll have a word with his cleaners! :) This was the only fault we could think of - a nice flat in a great location, wonderful city, would highly recommend Jose and his apartment.

Great vacation in Barcelona

My husband and two adult kids stayed for three nights in this great apartment in Barcelona. Jose met us promptly, helped us with our bags and showed us around the apartment. He gave us alot of information on the surrounding area and places to see and places to avoid at night. The apartment was just as listed. It was very clean and comfortable. Linens and towels were provided. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we did not do any cooking! Jose let us know he was only a phone call away if we needed anything. The apartment is located in a nice quiet residential area. We felt very safe at all hours of the day and night. It was located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the city. We would highly recommend this apartment to everyone. Thank you again Jose for all your great hospitality and making our firs visit to Barcelona so much fun. Lorrie, Doug, Jeff and Michelle

Loved This Apt and our Host, Jose!

After much research, I picked this apartment as a home base for my six night stay in Barcelona with my 21 year old daughter. From the beginning planning/rental stages, Jose was extremely responsive and communicative. And all the prior reviews are 100% accurate: Jose met us at the apartment late at night (23:00), carried our bags upstairs, sat down with us and patiently explained the ins and outs of our neighborhood and of getting around Barcelona. The apartment itself was very clean, modern, spacious and extremely secure (locked foyer entrance). Great location, too: wonderful local neighborhood with lovely cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (tip: food and everything around this neighborhood costs about half of what you'll pay near La Rambla and other touristy areas). Overlooks a small park/courtyard and a school. Even while there, when we needed to email Jose about change in plans for our departure, he responded within minutes. The morning we left, Jose showed up promptly at 8:00 am to call us a cab, helped us carry our bags down, and explained to the cab driver which airline/terminals we needed. Bottom line: this was the perfect apartment and Jose was the perfect host. Look no further!

Barcelona for a week!

Overall, we had a good experience with the property, the best part being the unit’s air conditioning, which provided much needed cooling due to Spain’s unprecedented heat wave during the week of our visit.PROs: AC, comfortable master bed, good shower, great central location, clothes washer. Wonderful Barcelona apartment

Our stay in Barcelona was great. Our apartment was located right in the middle of a few very popular destinations. We were able to walk to La Sagrada Familia, the Pg. de Garcia and the gothic district. The apartment had everything that we needed and our host was very friendly and informative. We highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment!

We loved staying in this apartment! Jose, the owner, met us at the apartment and gave us a brief, but thorough explanation of the how everything worked and reviewed a few key places to visit on the Barcelona map. He also made recommendations for places to eat that were delicious! The apartment is in a residential, very safe area. It was quiet, well stocked and very comfortable. He was also very accessible and checked in with us at the end of our stay to see if he could call a cab for us to get us back to the airport. Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely go back!

Perfect location, great stay

The property was as advertised and Jose was a wonderful host from check-in to check-out. We stayed for 4 days with our kids and this was the perfect location to explore Barcelona from. Apartment was in a safe neighborhood with plenty of amenities. Would recommend.

Pleasant break in Barcelona away from the crowds

On way back to UK after 2weeks in Sardinia we stopped off in Barcelona for a few days. Jose welcomed us warmly and gave us an excellent introduction of the apartment and the district. The apartment was well equipped, slightly limited by current building works so it was hard to open any windows. Its situation is fabulous. 15 - 20 mins and you are in the old city with all it business. On the way there are numerous restaurants with excellent food. A really good stay.

Why they chose this property

I bought this apartment in 1997, and it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing I need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that I like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the apartment as a my own home. Since them I have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later I decided to by four additional apartment in the same building and for the same reasons.
