This is a wonderful house. We had a great view of the Gulf and spectacular sunrise views. The house is on a canal which was a must for us. We bring our boat for lobster season. The house was freshly cleaned when we arrived. The pool was chilled! Great for hot afternoons and evenings. We loved it. I only had to contact our host, Kirk to let him know about a few things and that we had left the house. He was very responsive. I would certainly rent this house again.

One of our best stays on big Pine over 30 years. Morning view of sunrise awesome, and very good otherwise. Only issue is canal has a very shallow entrance at low tide but passable with caution even with boats larger than my 23' bay boat.

Great host & house

We enjoyed our stay so much we bought a house in the Keys. We were able to fish, scuba and kiteboard from the house. Kirk was super responsive and the house was great. Friendly neighborhood and Big Pine Park is within walking distance.

High Tech Water Front Property Close To Spectacular Fishing & Diving

My partner and I spent an incredible month at this house and had the time of our lives. Our fishing experience was unparalleled and we made countless unforgettable memories. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. One of my highlights was the breathtaking sunrise views from the front porch every morning. We can't wait to come back soon!

The view was wonderful with sunrises and full moons rising. Unfortunately the listing was not accurate. The listing that I read said there was heat, that The pool is heated that was not the case on either. The stairs in the pool were a a safety hazard. It wasn’t a pool but an over large bathtub. They were not bolted down and the handles turned around and around. The listing said is was for six people. It was too small for six. The living area had a couch that barely sat two people. We did have a visit from some friends who had to use their own lounge chairs.It would be good for one couple on a short basis. We were there 94 nights and 7 would have been plenty. Very disappointing and the time we stayed was was too long and very uncomfortable. We way overpaid for this property to be so miserable

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the views, sunrises, & full moons during your stay! We’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. We do want to respectfully clarify the listing is accurate: the pool is indeed heated, our home accommodates 6 people, & the couch is much larger than only fitting 2 people. Regarding the living area, prior to your arrival you had expressed concern that the existing couch appeared uncomfortable based on the listing photos. In response, we purchased / installed a brand new couch specifically to address your concern, & it is sized to comfortably seat more than two people. In terms of occupancy, the home is configured to accommodate six guests as noted, with one king bed & two queen beds, allowing for two guests per bed. Our comprehensive house guide includes detailed instructions on how to operate the pool heater & the weekly pool guy that visited also noted the heater was on. During your stay, the area experienced historic, record-breaking cold temperatures for Florida, which unfortunately impacted the heater’s ability to maintain typical warmth levels—something that is beyond normal operating conditions. As for the pool entry, the ladder is designed to rotate intentionally so guests can adjust the handle direction for easier/safer access in & out of the pool. We’re genuinely sorry that the stay felt uncomfortable for you, as we worked very hard throughout your visit to accommodate your requests.

We LOVE this house and hope we are able to stay again. It was so well equipped and quickly felt like home. The house had everything we needed and more! I cannot say enough good things about the house and property. We were able to park two boat trailers out of the way and had tons of seawall for parking the boats. Best house we have stayed in!
