House overlooks beautiful Lake Glenville from front porch, front bedroom and main living area. Back porch, master bedroom, kitchen and 2nd bedroom all have a gorgeous view of Christmas Tree Farm and Wedding Venue. The main floor features wood floors including 3 bedrooms split plan with fireplace. Large finished basement includes king bed, twin bed and an extra floor mattress if needed and an English version of pool “Skittles”. For your enjoyment, front porch has some games including Cornhole and in the garage there are kayaks and a fire pit out back. Numerous games and puzzles in living room for your enjoyment. Chair lift for no stairs if needed. Driveway is a little steep. Trailers and hitch mounted luggage racks will damage driveway and road. If you are going have more than 3 large vehicles please notify owner prior to renting.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Take trash/recycle to local recycle center 1 mile N on 107. Extra cleaning fee added if left. Not open on Sundays, only M-Sat 7-7

Turn off lights and lock all doors. Unplug golf cart from charger.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Property has beautiful views. Close proximity to Chimney Pond Farm where we attended a wedding. Roads are narrow, but most are in the area and we managed. Property seemed to have everything we needed.

Views from the front porch overlooking the lake and watching the sunset were spectacular. Watching the deer run through the Christmas tree farm in the evening was nice to see. The accommodations in the house met all our needs. I would like to thank the neighbors who made our stay even better. Thanks to the host who made our stay at the residence memorable.

Lovely view of Lake Glenville

We enjoyed a few nights at this cozy house. The view from the front porch is spectacular, and this is a good spot from which to explore Lake Glenville and the area.

Fall on lake Glenville

Great view over the magical Lake Glenville. Home with great layout for family. Area sight seeing and restaurants are top notch. Can’t wait to visit again.

My family and I had an outstanding vacation at this clean, comfortable cottage in a lovely location for fresh air and stunning views both front & back! We took leisurely walks on paved and dirt roads enjoying the hills, trees, water views and friendly neighbors. The place was freshly painted and the kitchen was more than adequate! The fire pit was a real bonus. We managed 2 cars comfortably on the parking pad.

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

This was a great getaway for our Thanksgiving family gathering. The view of the lake is beautiful and the Christmas Tree Farm came alive the day after Thanksgiving with music, a food truck, families and pets. The only drawback was the lower level bedroom was too cold for us to use so we ended up with kids on the couch.

Great Family Vacation

Great view of Lake Glenville. House was clean and well stocked with supplies. The steps & parking was a little bit of an issue. The host was very helpful on any issue we had. This area is the nicest part of the mountains to me!

Wedding Weekend Family Housing

The house is in a great location for guest who are attending weddings at Chimney Pond Farm. The golf cart allowed easy access to Chimney Pond Farm as many of our other families were staying on the property. It has space for 4 adult couples. The view is amazing. Note that the drive is narrow and large cars might have difficulty getting in and out, just have to get use to turning around. But having access to the garage is awesome. VRBO never sent check in information but the host communicated to us what we needed. Lake Glenville is beautiful and now will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Good for family Labor Day weekend

The house is clean, comfortable and well-appointed. There are kayaks in the garage (not sure where they can enter the water) and a golf cart. We own a cabin on the lake so our family overflow stayed at the rental and joined the rest of us at our property for the day. Perfect for what we needed. The only glitch was that the golf cart was recently serviced and it seems that the mechanic miswired the batteries that caused a small fire underneath the seat making the golf cart unusable for about 50% of the stay. Cheryl was very responsive to this concern but unable to do much on Labor Day weekend.

Perfect

The location and house was quaint. Nicely tucked up in this hillside with an absolutely gorgeous view. The photos don’t do it justice at all. Recommend booking and seeing for yourselves!! We didn’t leave much but did drive around one day to some amazing waterfalls. There was plenty of cooking stuff so we made dinner and breakfast everyday!

I love looking out at the peaceful views and the weather here is so perfect. We built the house years ago and now have fixed it up modernizing it with the hint of keeping that country vibe.

If you are attending a wedding venue at the Chimney Pond Farm this couldn’t be a more perfect location. Walk or golf cart there. We are across the street from the venue. The views of both the lake and the Christmas tree farms are just spectacular!
