This was the ideal location for a family vacation. It was across the street from the beach, and the pool was heated. Even when it rained and got cooler, we were still able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The house was a great size and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Myrtle beach vacation

House was outstanding and very beautiful the put put and cornhole was and added experience especially for golfers needing practice on the green. Was very clean and had everything you will need during your stay minus food and the normal bathing essentials soap/shampoo they did supply a few samples. They were very polite and kind and was very professional the pool & hot tub area was fabulous has both charcoal and gas grills with small pavilion for grilling out along with hammock i have absolutely 0 complaints on the property and are very grateful for them to share it with us.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, had extra beach towels, garbage bags and things you might not think to bring. Pool was large and clean. Overall had a nice stay.

Amazing beach house

We could not have asked for a better stay. The beach house was perfect for my family vacation with an amazing pool and hot tub and the ocean directly across the street. The beach was absolutely beautiful and perfect for morning walks. The house was very clean and had a lot of extras like pool floats, boogie boards, and an outdoor grill. Tim is an amazing host. We look forward to coming back again.

AMAZING PLACE AND AWESOME OWNERS!!

The house was close to the airport, easy to find, close to the ocean and spacious. The owners answered all our questions by text quickly prior and during our stay quickly. The pool and hot tub were top notch. The house was roomy, comfortable and clean. We are ready to go back tomorrow. Our flight was delayed a day and the owner helped us to make it right. We cannot say enough good things about this place. It is the best place in every way!!

Perfect fit

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Two families of four, 4 adults and 4 kids. The home fit our families perfectly. Well stocked home along with plenty of beach towels, toys and all you need for the beach and pool. Our mornings were spent at the beach, just walked right across the street and then came back for lunch and then the kids jumped into the pool for the afternoon! We ordered out and grilled out most of our dinners. Communication with the host was great; super responsive and even had a case of beer and a bottle of wine waiting for us at arrival! It was all perfection!

Overpriced for the MANY repairs needed. READ THIS!

When we first pulled up, we were very excited to see the property. I will list the pros and cons of our stay in May 2023. PROS: Access to the beach. It is a literal 1-2 minute walk to a community-private, beautiful beach. The pool was clean and had something for everyone. The putting green was a hit and the cornhole equipment was great. CONS: Gutters and rusty nails lying about. ANYTIME U WANT HOTTUB ON U HAVE TO TEXT OWNER. Many outlets didn't work/no cover-unsafe. Ceiling peeling away from itself, as well as in corner of living room. Gaps in hardwood floor. Dirty d/w drain. Dated kitchen items. Broken/rotted rocking chair. 1 bed had sand it in. BR dwnstr was disappointing. Outdr fans rusted and look like they may fall. Bathroom handle won't lock, falling off. Holes & patch work throughout. Feeling of being surveilled by the owner. Camera pointed at front door and pool, door, ok, but as I had young women in my party, felt odd w/ pool cam. Would text to ask if we were done w/hot tub if we didn't text him right away to turn off, which meant he was watching. Camera at front door kept shining light on us as we tried to hang out on the porch. It's a Ring camera, so the light came on when being viewed-often. Balcony white chairs w/fiberglass shards that caused a rash on arms. All beach equipment broken in some way. Owner blaming us for broken couch in sunroom. Needs many repairs.

Beach Life

My wife and I had our son and his family at Little Yellow for 6 days. Thoroughly enjoyed our time as the house is 2 minutes walk to beach and has a new pool area with putting green and cornhole court on astro turf. The private beach in my opinion was my favorite part. Morning walks, swimming and sunning on the beach, then night walks on the long white sugar sand beach. We usually go to Captiva Island in FL but we had an excellent experience here at Little Yellow.

We are a family that has spent our whole life living in the Midwest and dreaming about the coast. We fell in love with South Carolina. In 2018 we found "Little Yellow". She is a precious beach house, second row from the ocean. We are living our dream of daily walks on the beach and winters that are not like "winter". The best part is that "Little Yellow" is a duplex so we are able to share our dream with others, like you.

Why they chose this property

This home is located in a private community with a private beach. This is perfect for those who want a more community atmosphere rather than an overly tourist-filled area. The house is located on a prime street among other oceanfront vacation rentals with much larger prices. There is a large pool wirth a waterfall spa.

What makes this property unique

Private beach. Owners are right next door to answer any questions. Coming in October 2021 there will be cement corn-hole boxes and putting green exclusively for our guests. We are right next to the State Park and you can walk there from our beach if you don't want to pay for parking.
