Given our family's 1st trip to Paris, this apartment was an absolutely amazing way to soak in the vibe and charm of this amazing city.So much thought and detail is included in the apartment and it gave us a great homely transition from the travel needed to get there. The centralized location is really the icing on the cake and the view of the left bank is absolutely stunning from the balcony. As an American from Arizona, we know all about AC, but there was something very relaxing about having that rare feature, knowing France was going thru some serious heatwaves.
The apartment was lovely, beds and bedding very comfortable, the views were exactly as depicted on the website and spectacular. The stairs are daunting but we are elderly and managed them without problems (and without haste.) Anyone who books this apartment can be confident about what they will experience.
The apartment was wonderful! Great location very safe, clean and beds were very comfortable. There are a lot of stairs to climb which might make it difficult for some people but it was great for us to work off all the food we ate!
It was my dream to stay on the Île de la Cité and this place was perfect! The view out the windows is STUNNING. The check-in was easy/ great. The place is super well equipped, air conditionned, nicely upgraded and so perfectly Parisian! (Please note that you have to climb the stairs, there is no elevator, but I knew that so I am giving it a 5 star rating but if mobility is an issue, this might be tough.)

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
The positives: the apartment itself is wonderful. Location was perfect, and the view over the Seine is beautiful. If I were reviewing only the apartment, it would receive high marks.Unfortunately, this property is managed by a management company rather than an individual host, and the management experience was VERY disappointing. Check-in was poorly organized, communication was inconsistent, and basic information was not provided. I was given the wrong Wi-Fi password, and never told about the key lockbox or checkout process.Although I was allowed to drop off luggage early, when I returned at the promised 3:00 p.m. check-in time, the apartment had not been cleaned. I was told this was my fault because I hadn't left a key for the cleaners—something I had never been instructed to do. As a result, my family had to wait (in a heat wave)while the apartment was cleaned and couldn't shower before our first evening in Paris. The following day we discovered the shower drain was clogged, making it unusable. The management company said they would return to fix it, but later claimed they couldn't access the apartment unless I left a key in the lockbox—again, a process never been explained. We returned later to find the shower repaired, but no one informed us they had entered the apartment or explained. A second night with no showers. We were promised a refund for the first2 night's inconvenience, but despite multiple follow-ups over the past two weeks, I still have not received it.
