Perfect location for exploring Phoebus and Fort Monroe

Very short walk to restaurants and stores in Phoebus and quick drive to music festival on Fort Monroe. I always enjoy staying in older houses that have been remodeled and have all the modern comforts. Looking forward to staying again next time I'm in the area!

Nice place

The rental was as advertised. We were in town for vacation activities. So we didn’t spend much time in the place. But it was a great place to stop and to spend evenings. We had 6 people and there was plenty of room to sleep every one. The living room/kitchen area is a little small for a family of 6. But our two oldest spent most of their time in their room. So it worked fine for us. The house is conveniently located within a half mile of the I64 entrance ramp. So it is easy to hit the attractions/shops/restaurants in Hampton/Newport News/Norfolk/VA Beach. Nearby is Fort Monroe with Outlook beach in sight of it. This beach was never busy any of the times we went to it. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay.

Just fine

all good the only thing that was a little uncomfortable were the beds that when one went to sleep at the headboard one woke up all down but everything else was fine
