The original settler's cabin on our 400 acre farm. Built in 1866 out of logs, the axe marks are still visible.
Modern amenities include kitchen, three piece bath, smart TV. Bedroom downstairs and loft upstairs.
On the grounds of Gerber's Nursery, a working plant nursery.

Great stay!

This little log cabin was a great place to stay. We were only in the area briefly for a family wedding but the cabin more than met our needs. Our only complication was that there was no one to orientate us on arrival, but we got things sorted with a minimum of effort and keys had been left for us to lock up when we came and went.We would have liked to explore the area more but perhaps another time.

Awesome accommodations! As advertised. Genuine Pre-Confederation cabin, with many convenient and modern upgrades in the interior. Very clean; lots of kitchen utensils; comfortable beds, reliable Wi-Fi. Debbi was a helpful host. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cabin, exactly as described. It’s even cuter than the pictures! For me it was a great location, on a beautiful property with a lovely host. Very clean, had everything I needed. Travelling alone I felt safe, and there was good parking close to door. I use a mobility walker and I was able to get through the doorways. Host helped accommodate the space so I could come and go easier. Bathroom was small for my walker, but someone with a cane would be fine. I’d love to bring my family and stay here again. A beautiful stay in a beautiful part of the world!

Our working Nursery is on a large 400 acre farm. The cabin is the original home on the farm, updated to suit modern tastes and keep the charm of ages past. There is another cabin/chalet on the property and our family home.
