This cabin could not have been any more perfect for a week getaway. The interior was absolutely beautiful with a spacious living room downstairs and a smaller living room upstairs. It was extremely hot while I was there and the AC worked flawlessly. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen made it to where I wanted to cook everything there and not leave.
Lovely property and a relaxing vacation. My husband was hoping to do some fishing and the hosts were very helpful. The house was well furnished, spacious, and clean! Would definitely stay again!
This is a great property and we enjoyed our 4 night stay. It's within a short walk to the river, although trout fishing this time of year seemed to be non-existent (locals said the best time starts in October and runs through Spring). This home seemed to have just about everything we needed for our stay (but could use a few extra steak knives). We would definitely stay here again. Also, local restaurants and grocery stores are limited locally. It is a dry county, too, so plan ahead if you stay here. Lake Greeson is absolutely beautiful and it's just up the road. Go to Swaha and rent a boat; they seemed to have reasonable rentals available and friendly staff.
Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, very clean, very nice laundry facilities, lovely fire pit & outdoor seating. Such a perfect location for visiting Diamond Crater State Park! Our host was kind and responsive!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is the 2nd year my family of 5 has spent at the Lazy Trout and it’s absolutely perfect for us! It’s super close to the river, perfect space for us, clean and easy to get to! Close to a Mexican restaurant and Dollar General if you don’t feel like cooking or need something you forgot! Will definitely stay again! Feels like home away from home for us!
Super nice cabin great place to hang out with family. The river is a walk down from the cabin you can see it from the cabin. Bring your own firewood for the campfire other than that wonderful place
We really enjoyed staying at the Lazy River. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything you’d need for a fun stay including indoor and outdoor games.
This was our first time staying outside of a hotel for an extended stay. Beautiful cabin out in a peaceful location, perfect for family bonding. The host was above and beyond helpful, courteous and personable, answering any questions throughout the booking process and during our stay.
