Make yourself at home in this spacious holiday home, dating from 1637. During the extensive renovation, historic stone walls were stylishly combined with modern furnishings. Gather round the long dining table or prepare your meals together in the spacious, open-plan kitchen. In the living area, enjoy the warmth of the double-sided fireplace, which connects the living and dining rooms. Challenge your fellow travellers to a game of table tennis or table football. Afterwards, treat yourself to a relaxing break in the sauna and hot tub.



Step out onto the large, sheltered south-facing terrace and spend pleasant hours there from spring well into autumn. Swim a few lengths in the heated outdoor pool and then relax on one of the sun loungers. You can even bring your horse along, as there are stables and pastures available in the immediate vicinity.



Explore the hilly, wooded landscape of the Belgian Ardennes on foot, by mountain bike, on a road bike or on horseback. Take a trip to the Baraque de Fraiture, one of the highest points in Belgium. Visit the picturesque towns of Durbuy or La Roche-en-Ardenne and discover the caves of Hotton and Remouchamps. Take your children to the Coo waterfalls and combine the trip with an action-packed day at Plopsa Coo theme park.

Bij een overlijden moesten we een dag eerder vertrekken en er was gezegd dat we de doodsbrief moesten meebrengen voor een 1 overnachting terug te krijgen daarvoor was er gemaild. Dan kom je daar en zeggen van niet. We waren daar met de 3 zussen van de overleden persoon plus ons kinderen

De voorzieningen zijn bijzonder goed.

De voorzieningen zijn bijzonder goed. Wat je kunt bedenken is er. Niet alles in nieuwstaat maar goed en schoon. Bedden zijn goed, kamers ruim. 1 badkamer boven is alleen vanuit 1 kamer toegankelijk. De andere badkamer is dus voor 3 tweepersoons en en vier persoonskamer. Dat houdt niet over. Echte problemen zijn de waardeloze wifi en de niet regelbare temperatuur in huis. 22 graden beneden en open verbinding met slaapkamers. Veel te warm om comfortabel te zijn. Verder zeer ruim en goed ingericht en sauna jacuzzi heel fijn.

We hebben met ons hele gezin een fantastische week gehad. 10 volwassenen en 1 kind. Fijn warm huis, super jaccuzzi en heerlijke sauna. Tafeltennis ook veel gebruik van gemaakt. Niet vergeten om balletjes mee te nemen. Savonds de haard buiten aan geeft ook veel gezelligheid.Keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs staafmixer bakpapier ovenschalen edGrote snijmessen en schaar zijn bot, en bakpannen versleten. Dit hebben we gemeld bij eigenaar, dus dat kan snel opgelost zijn.Super tuin met groot grasveld waar we prima konden kuppen. T is november dus zwembad was aan ons niet besteed.

Correct en gezellig huis in Ardennen

Het huis voldeed volledig aan onze verwachtingen voor ons kerstweekend te vieren met onze familie. Alles was goed voorzien en er was zelfs wat kerstversiering aanwezig. Het huis was goed verwarmd en had alle benodigdheden die we nodig hadden voor kerstmaaltijd op te dienen. Jacuzzi en sauna was zalig om van te genieten, en ook de ping-pong heeft ons uren bezig gehouden. Je verblijft direct aan een mooi bos om te gaan wandelen, en een leuke klein brouwerij om van het lokaal bier te proeven. Enige minpunt waren de mankementen in de kamers zoals ontbreken van haken voor handdoeken aan te hangen, en dat de bedden vrij klein zijn voor 2 volwassenen. 2 kamers zijn ook vrij open aan het rest van het huis wat onaangenaam kan zijn ivm lawaai als mensen nog/al willen slapen als de rest nog wakker beneden zit te babbelen.

Mooie ruime woning. Alle materiaal aanwezig in het huis. Jacuzzi werkte niet meer zo goed. Zwembad mocht iets warmer voor sommigen.
