Listen to the waves from your deck as you take in both wooded and lake views in this updated lakefront home. The spacious home has 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms-- ready for your family or gathering.
*Top Floor* The main story features an open floor plan from the chef's kitchen across a vaulted ceiling to dining and living rooms. Also on the top floor, a large primary bedroom with sitting room and enormous bathroom and closet.
*Decks & Lake Access* This house has deck for days with fantastic views of one of the widest parts of Greer's Ferry lake. From the back door, you can access the the lake by a sloped path to a private cove and shale beach. Provided with the rental is use of a kids' kayak and various water toys/floats.
The walk from The Lake House to the water is on a natural slope and uneven terrain rather than a paved or manicured path. Most guests navigate it just fine, but it may be difficult for anyone with limited mobility or who has trouble walking on inclines or uneven ground.
Boat and jet ski rentals are only 10 miles away and there's a paved boat ramp with parking just one mile away. Located at the end of a dead-end road, you'll have plenty of privacy.
*Game Room* Kids of all ages will enjoy the downstairs den/game room complete with a big screen TV, and both foosball and a ping pong tables. If you ever tire of those, there are plenty of board games, cards, and books!
*Guest Bedrooms* On either side of the game room are bedrooms: a super comfy queen with views of the lake (with futon sofa, too), and a huge room with two queen beds and a full bed with views of the lake.
*Downstairs Bath* The spacious downstairs bathroom features a double sink, plenty of counter space, and a tub/shower combo.
*Primary Bedroom* The primary suite features both lake and wooded views and glass door access to the large upstairs deck. A very nice king mattress will ensure great sleep on your vacation, and a sitting room (with desk) just off the master will give you private indoor space. The large master bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and two-sink vanity. The master also features a twin day bed with a twin trundle, too, for any spare swimmers.
*Living* A local stone fireplace anchors the vaulted-ceiling living room with plenty of comfy seating. Walls of windows give you access to the outdoors while still inside the spacious home. A half bath is conveniently located just off the living and dining areas.
*Dining* A large farm table can support 8, and the huge island nearby seats 4.
*Kitchen* The updated kitchen has the space and supplies to create amazing meals. With both gas and electric double ovens, you can bake, bake, bake. A gas cooktop has 5 burners. There's also a microwave, refrigerator, stand-alone ice maker, both regular and prep sinks, drip and Keurig coffee makers, a large air fryer as well as the traditional appliances like a toaster, a blender, pots and pans, casserole dishes, serving ware and steak knives.
*Laundry* A full-size washer and dryer and sink are in the separate laundry room. The dryer also features a separate drying rack with circulating air for swimsuits and delicates.
The home is fully stocked with towels, linens, napkins, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, shampoo and bar soap. Also, there is a large gas grill on the top deck. The bedrooms are equipped with TV's and internet access and Wi-Fi throughout most of the home.
*Parking and Outside* The home features a concrete parking/driveway. Additional parking (or trailer parking) is available roadside at the top of the driveway. Please note that the home's garage is locked and is NOT part of the rental nor accessible to guests.
*What to Do* There's so much to do at the home. Swim or kayak the lake from your own back door, explore the wet weather creek beside the house. And besides lake fun, there is plenty to do in the area. Trails and waterfalls, golf, biking-- even walking the dead-end road in front of the home is nice. Only a handful of homes have full-time residents and there is hardly any traffic.
Boating and sailing is available at nearby marinas. Golf and fine dining at Red Apple Inn. Hike Sugar Loaf Mountain, located in the middle of the lake! The Little Red River features world-class fishing (trout below Greer's Ferry Dam). Fly fishing the Little Red is a popular and memorable activity, and Blanchard Springs Caverns and Ozark Folk Center are one hour north in Mountain View.

Our family lives about an hour away and we escape to The Lake House every chance we get. We love lake life and this house and hope your family enjoys it, too.
Why they chose this property
The Lake House has both lake views and access to the water. The home’s spacious, open layout is perfect for families and entertaining. Ping-pong and foosball tables in the game room downstairs will entertain kids of all age. Relax on one of two enormous decks while the kids play in the private cove below. The home is spacious enough that your whole family can stay while maintaining privacy. Located near the end of a dead-end road with about 40 homes and only a handful of full-time residents, the area is peaceful and private and surrounded by nature.
What makes this property unique
Every room in the home is BIG, so you never feel cramped. Even the closets are enormous. If you like to cook, the kitchen is a great place to work your magic. It has both gas and electric double ovens and plenty of cook, serving and drink wear. For our family, it's nice when the adults gather upstairs and the kids play downstairs.
