Breathe in the sea air and luxuriate in spectacular ocean views at our newly built hilltop sanctuary, located in exceptionally peaceful surroundings 2 miles from Mendocino.

Our mid-century modern Bauhaus is a sleek oasis for ADULTS ONLY, secluded on private 10-acres, offering magnificent sea views and all the modern comforts, including strong and reliable Wi-Fi.

Our hilltop oasis is a sublime space situated above the sea on 10 private acres, surrounded by 35 more, with ocean views in all directions, inside and out. You are close enough to the sea to hear waves crashing below and far enough from humanity to enjoy the tranquility of having NO ONE AROUND YOU.

Sit on the vast sun-filled deck and watch whales migrating in the ocean below, osprey and eagles flying overhead, and deer, foxes and rabbits walking beside. Or enjoy the expansive views from inside, while curled up by a contemporary gas fireplace.

Indoors, beauty marries function. Our serene, light-filled space beckons with modern yet comfortable seating, facing the ocean, a contemporary Solas gas fireplace and 55” Sony Bravia SmartTV. In the kitchen, a full-size Refrigerator, dishwasher and gas range-oven.

Strong and reliable wifi, a brand new Memory foam mattress in the master bedroom, wrapped in all-cotton sheets and down blankets. With a second bedroom set up as an office/yoga/meditation space, we invite you to unwind in a tranquil escape or revitalize during an extended working vacation.

The house is petite but it’s views, deck and privacy are expansive.

Location-wise, our Bauhaus is in the most exclusive enclave on the Mendocino coast: a private hilltop in Little River surrounded by nature and away from people, yet a stone’s throw from beaches, shopping and other recreational activities. You can walk to the golf course, Van Damme beach and state park and Little River store and Inn and, in a two-mile drive, arrive in downtown Mendocino and enjoy the art, shops, bars and eateries. And, of course, the wild and wind swept Mendocino headlands.

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this Little River getaway. Jay is such a fantastic and accommodating host who goes above all standards in ensuring our comfort. Amazing stay, didn't want to leave!

Beautiful house set on a hill back from the highway with continuous ocean views. Property is very isolated and you won't have anyond else encroaching on your view or space. Great peaceful spot to get away from everything and enjoy nature. Host very friendly and communicative, made great suggestions. Hope to be back!

Amazing Stay

This place is a must stay if you’re visiting the Mendocino area. It’s close enough to everything without feeling like it. The house is well designed and the views are beautiful. Waking up and having the windows full of trees and ocean was the amazing. Jay, the owner was helpful and communicated everything we needed to know. We will definitely make it a point to come back in the future.

Peaceful Respite

The pictures and descriptions for this wonderful home are understated. This peaceful and private home was clean and had everything we needed and more. The views and sunsets were beautiful. . . especially from the bench on the bluff. And the patio with the firepit was an extra bonus for enjoying smores. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home.

The house is as beautiful as the photos. It’s thoughtfully designed, furnished, and supplied The bed was very comfortable. We loved the privacy. We plan to return for another stay. Five stars all around!

Amazing view!

We really enjoyed our three-night stay. Panoramic, unobstructed views of the ocean and coastline from living room, kitchen area and master bedroom, and the deck. Furnishings are new and nice. Bed and all furniture are very comfortable and everything worked well -TV, gas fireplace, appliances, and Bluetooth speaker. The shower wasn't as hot as we like and Jay and Rob we're quick to turn up the temperature on the hot water heater and everything was great. They're both friendly and very easy to work with. Very quiet and peaceful environment.
