Summary:

Private home minutes to resorts. Walk to Moonridge coffee, hikes or the Alpine zoo. Whether you want a quiet escape to nature or an action packed adventure you will love spending time with friends or family here. This Moonridge home is Close to all the fun Big Bear has to offer. Enjoy a tranquil Hot Tub under the stars, or share stories by the fire. Game room with pool table and ping pong. Plenty of space for multiple families to make memories. Fully stocked, clean, modern cabin vibe.



The Space:

Luxe clean modern cabin. We love our Chalet, because of the views, fun things to do and room to entertain our family



Awesome game room with pool, ping ping, poker, puzzles and games



Natural gas bbq and fire place

TVs in each room with Roku



Laundry area and soap provided



We have a pet friendly, fenced yard



Propane Grill



Propane Fire pit area and Horseshoe pit



Coffee station, toiletries, full kitchen, robes and all

Linens provided.



My favorite place is by the gas

fireplace though, building a puzzle and drinking wine



Guest Access:

Full private 4 bedroom Chalet with parking and yard. Garage is not part of rental.



The Neighborhood:

Big Bear has soo much to offer. Lake activities, Mountain activities, the Village for restaurants and shopping. We are located in Moonridge which is near the ski slopes, golf course, zoo and village. We are no more than 8 minutes from any Big Bear activity. I love to walk to Moonridge coffee and Dank Donuts down the street. Its hilly so you can bike or walk around the house but you will want to drive most places. We have views of the slopes from our back yard. The village is about a 3 minute drive. You can walk to the ski shuttle pick up on Moonridge.



Getting Around:

There is a weekend trolley, ski shuttle and limited cabs. You will find your self mostly driving or biking. There is a ski shuttle pick up at Moonridge at Elm. I like to walk to Moonridge Coffee and then to the Alpine Zoo for an afternoon date.

We want your stay to be as carefree as possible. We have tried to think of everything but let us know if you have any specific needs!

Great space for bigger groups. Was perfect for our family of four as well as my parents. The kids loved the pool and ping pong table and we enjoyed sitting in the backyard with the fire pit. Location was also ideal and could easily get to all the things we had planned.

Great weekend getaway!

Our family had a great weekend at this home in Big Bear! The house was just as described, cozy, comfortable, and fun for the whole family. Communicating with the property owner was easy and helpful, location was great, in a quiet neighborhood close to activities. Would definitely stay here again!

This home is well appointed with comfortable bedding, plenty of cook ware and wonderful amenities. We had a small family group for a quick getaway to celebrate our son's birthday and the spa, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table and arcade system kept the teen boys and us adults busy for HOURS!!! We will definitely be back for another visit. Homeowner was communicative and replied promptly.

Fantastic stay all around. Our family used to have a home in Big Bear Lake, so we are very familiar with the area around Moonridge. This is a great location, and the home is very comfortable with a great backyard fire pit and hot tub. The upstairs game room and bedroom area is wonderful for all ages. We cooked both nights, and the kitchen is well stocked and spacious. TV’s in all rooms. Great fireplace and living room. We would definitely come back!

Great Little Escape

We enjoyed the house and what it had to offer. We appreciated the snacks on the way in and communication with the hosts was easy. They were responsive and even called to inform me of a small issue prior. Great location! We wish we were able to stay longer to enjoy Big Bear. I hope to return when the weather is cooler someday to enjoy the other amenities. We didn't get to use the game room as the pull-out couch was stuck in the bed position. We appreciated the books and games for the kiddos to enjoy. Overall I highly recommend others to stay here.

We love to Staycation on long weekends. I made a resolution a few years back to do one long weekend every month with my family. We enjoy staing in the desert, Big Bear, Mammoth as well as camping and the beach!

Why they chose this property

Big Bear is beautiful - We have some much fun as a family in Big Bear and every trip is different. We are looking forward to getting our boys skiing this year.

What makes this property unique

Our favorite thing about our home is that it sleeps ten so we can easily bring up friends and family. The boys love the game collection and the hot tub. I love good wine by the fire or spa under the stars. We also are always fully stocked with hot cocoa and goodies!
