This place was incredibly close to the village and Canyon gondolas (4 mins walk that we did with skis/snowboards easily). Great place that was beautiful, clean, and great amenities. Super easy.

Great location, great space

We stayed here for a 3 night trip to mammoth, 4 adults and 2 kids. The location was excellent, we walked to the gondola with skis every morning to go up to canyon lodge, and everything was close enough that we came back to the unit for lunch every day. The kitchen was very well stocked (from a family that likes to cook), bedrooms were comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location right next to the Village. Condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of four with small children. Owners did a great job with upgrading and furnishing the unit. Everything was brand new and had everything we needed.

Perfect - Will look to stay again

Was perfect for our family of 4. Great location, garage spaces, nicely decorated common space upstairs, had everything we needed for cooking at home, outdoor closet for ski storage, good heating - able to control temperature preferences per room, great fireplace, comfortable beds, a small work space perfect for checking emails. We really loved the upstairs especially. Only two comments were the master bedroom duvet had a few stains on top of it which I noticed upon check in and notified the management who responded right away that they would talk to housekeeping. Also in the master bathroom shower, the temperature handle was opposite (hot was actually cold, cold was actually hot) We loved it and definitely will look to book here again.

Overall good- hot tub was a HUGE disappointment

The condo itself was nice. Spacious, kitchen was very clean. Otherwise mostly clean. Liked the pellet stove. But the hot tub- which was one of the main reasons we booked this place was covered in green slime/mold that left us covered in this green substance after use. They never fully addressed this issue and after two attempts, we stopped using the hot tub as it seemed potentially harmful.

Great place, horrible communication

The location of this unit is perfect for summer and winter activities, being just a short walk to the Village. Check-in was smooth, and we settled in quickly. However, 3 hours later, I received a vague text from Vacasa about an urgent issue stating we had to relocate, with no additional details. I actually thought it was spam, so I called the number on my confirmation email. After calling, I learned they wanted to move us due to a water heater leak, meaning no hot water. This should have been addressed before we checked in. The alternate location they offered was far and not nearly as nice, so we opened to stay without hot water, but the issue wasn’t resolved during our entire stay. The lack of timely communication and action was frustrating. I was offered a comp of $200 which is insane considering the circumstances and that they would have had to pay for another unit if we chose to relocate. Though the place itself was great, the property management was beyond disappointing. I would give this another shot for winter because of the epic location.

+ Perfectly cute inside. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Kitchen had everything you need and more. House warms up quick. Nice TV’s in every room. Close walking distance to the village. - Being a designer I felt they needed a console under the main TV to hide all the boxes and wires and store the games they offer. Games were in the only pantry area in the kitchen. Need barstool height stools as the stools are to low to sit at counter. Pellet stove was not working which would have been cozy but none of these are deal breakers and would still give 5 stars! Had a great experience and hope to stay again!

Great location, house needs some love

First, the good: - Location: it's amazing! walking distance to the village and gondola are great. - Covered parking - Beds and bedding are nice and warm - Modern TVs: they're nice even if we didn't really use them - Washer/dryer are nice The not so good: - There's a small roof leak in one of the bedrooms. We placed a bowl down to catch the slow drips but this needs to be fixed! - The house was literally 40F when we arrived, as shown on several thermostats and it took a long time for the house to warm up - The flushing mechanism on the master toilet is broken and rather than fixing it by replacing the handle, someone added a make-shift clip that kept falling off, leaving the toilet running and unable to flush. Not hard to work around but not sure why a new handle wasn't installed - Despite all of my best efforts, I could not get the pellet stove to work. Yes, the pellet hopper was full, the thermostat was in run mode, the red light was on indicating the pellet stove was calling for heat. Yes, pellets initially got pushed into the combustion chamber. Yes, I tried hitting reset several times but nothing seemed to actually get the stove to light. This made warming the house up from the 40F it was when we got there even more challenging. Also, the thermostat battery is low and needs to be replaced. Overall, our stay went fine but it could have been a lot nicer if some of the above was addressed.

Great place for a family

Our stay was just 2 nights. Minor hiccups with dead schlage lock and leaking toilet in the master bedroom. However, support was great, and it wasn’t a biggie. Otherwise interior was top notch. The village and city shuttles are under 5 minutes on foot.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket)

The biggest disappointment was the lack of bedding. There was only a sheet with the thinnest threadbare coverlet on each bed with no extra blankets at the property. Even though the emails stated to bring blankets “in case the roads get closed in Mammoth,” the property description should specifically state there are no blankets on the beds. I would have brought extra bedding if I knew this. The beds were adequate, but not warm and comfortable. The property was freezing cold when we arrived late at night so some blankets would have been nice. The cleanliness of the property was good except the first thing I noticed in the kitchen were the fingerprints all over the dishwasher. This first impression made me wonder if the rest of the rental was clean. Lastly, the walkway in front of the rental is flooded with water from the melting snow which required us to carefully walk on the grass, ice and wet mud around it. Luckily none of us slipped and got injured, or ruined our shoes. Due to it's close proximity to the gondola, the rental was fine but overall not worthy of five stars. I wish I knew about the lack of bedding.
