THIS COTTAGE--clean, cute, comfortable--is also convenient too! Located just 1/2 mile beyond the Beech Mtn. Club pool, tennis, fitness center, and just beyond Coffey Lake fishing pond/walking path, it's close and accessible to activities, yet serene in its quiet, natural setting. Go beyond the house and you'll arrive on St. Andrews Road which follows along the golf course, another fine amenity. Add that to the sunny view of distant mountains, fire pit below the house and fairly easy ingress into the house (8 stair steps) and you've got a home that promises to be warm, welcoming and worthy of your consideration.
The main level touts 2 guest bedrooms (1 king and 1 twin trundle) that share a bath. The kitchen/dining/living area is fresh, bright and open. The kitchen is fully equipped and a joy to use, with more accouterments than most. The dining area takes in the view, and the living room is cozy and inviting, with a stone faced fireplace and gas logs. The main deck has a big gas grill and nice dining set up. Downstairs is where you'll find a large master bedroom/suite with a plump king bed, large private bath, impressive closet and private balcony too. A den with the 2nd tv, sofa bed, office "nook" and the third bathroom complete the rest of the space on this level. This house is ideal for a couple with occasional guests, or a small family...perfect for up to 6 people.
Each season on Beech has its own wonderful activities and attractions. For summer, in addition to hiking, bicycling, fish and fowling, shopping, dining, music and art outings, Beech Mountain Club privileges are available. (All member transfer & usage fees shall be paid by renters.) Enjoy golf, tennis, pickle ball, fitness, private dining facilities. For winter, Ski Beech Resort, is less than 10 minute drive away--skiing, boarding, skating and sledding. As with all locations on Beech we recommend that you come equipped with 4WD or tire chains in winter, as we hope for snow. And, at 5500 ft. elev., Beech is "the coolest" year 'round.
