Welcome to Connemara Cottage!
If you’re in search of a minimalistic retreat with character, this stone-clad cottage might just be the right option for you. This retreat located on a ½ acre is sandwiched between Banner Elk (2 miles away) and Beech Mountain Resort (3 miles away) in a small residential community and is perfect for exploring all the surrounding towns, trails and scenery. The cozy feel of this cottage makes it a perfect hideaway for a couple seeking some quality time together. From its indoor jacuzzi, the front and back porches to its open concept, an escape from everyday life is possible. Sit on the back porch in the morning listening to the birds or at night, to the calming sound of the nearby stream. Those who wish to cook will find the amply stocked kitchen handy. If you don’t feel like making your own food, there is a variety of restaurants and bars in the nearby towns Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Boone and Blowing Rock just to name a few.

Perfect spot for ski trip!

My girlfriend, our dog, and I stayed at Connemara cottage during our last ski trip and we absolutely loved it! All the amenities inside the cottage were above par. The hosts were great about communication and even made sure to provide a new snow shovel when it looked like we would be getting a snow storm. This is the only place we'll stay from now on when we go skiing!

Perfect cottage for two

Our stay at Connemara was perfect. This is one of the coziest and most well thought out properties we've stayed at. The location, the fully stocked kitchen, extra pillows on the bed, tea candles for the jacuzzi tub, all of it. The hosts are responsive and very friendly to message with, just super cool people. Check-in was a breeze. We stayed 4 nights wth our pup, Stella, while snowboarding at Beech Mountain and had an amazing time. Looking forward to booking this again. -Shane, Crystalle and Stella

Cozy cottage for a Mini-Moon

Very pleased with our stay; the cottage was clean and tidy, the location was private (especially considering a lot of other rentals in the area are condos), and vibes were delightfully cozy for a couple and our elderly dog. The whirlpool tub was a bonus. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic Mountain Getaway

Our stay at Connemara Cottage was perfect. This quaint property was in a great location with quick/easy access to Beech Mountain and Banner Elk. The layout was simple and right amount of space. Everything was well marked and all necessary supplies provided. The pet friendly property was also a hit with our dogs :-). Also loved the subtle sound of water running through the creek out back. Property owners were always accessible and communicative throughout to make sure our stay was pleasant as we celebrated our anniversary. Highly recommend this cottage.

Mountain getaway!

Fantastic place to stay! Had all the amenities we could ever need. Clean and tidy. Easy to get to, easy to fine. Super close to the nearby towns and the wedding venue for the wedding we attended! I would highly recommend this cute little mountain cottage. It was such a quick trip for this wedding, but my fiancé and I hope to vacation here again for longer next time!
