Cozy Cottage

This place is so wonderful. Perfect for two people but could handle 1 or 2 more easily. The whole place was comfortable including the bed. The location is absolutely beautiful and so convenient for us as our family lived in the area making our commute by walking. The area was quiet even enjoyed the frogs at night. The host was great to work with and definitely would stay here again when we come back.

A perfect space

This little cabin was absolutely perfect for my husband and myself. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed. We loved the location, as it was close to many restaurants and tourist locations that we wanted to visit. We appreciated having a washer and dryer as well.

Beautiful cabin

Great Cottage & Great Location

This cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our 2 fur babies. So quiet and peaceful but still very close to Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Great neighborhood for getting out and walking or going to the pool. We will definitely stay here again!

Great little place

We came for a few days so Our daughter could do freshman orientation. It was perfect! We did not need a lot of amenities just wanted to see the area and have a place to stay! It was perfect! Very clean, baby birds on front porch were adorable!

Small and cozy

The house was small but cozy with 2 fireplaces and a hot tub. You can tell the property was older but well maintained and clean with a fully equipped kitchen and grill.

Location, location, location!

This spot is perfectly located: easy to get to Boone, easy to get to banner elk, not far from Blowing Rock. The house was warm and cozy and provided us with everything we needed. Frank was super nice to communicate with and it was a very positive experience.

Wonderful Property

This was an excellent place for our mountain getaway. The house has all of the essentials, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, etc. The neighborhood is reclusive yet close to major attractions. Frank was a pleasure to deal with and was very quick in his communications. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet and quaint

Place was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. I truly enjoyed my stay. Theresa, was such a delight. You can tell that she handles the home with care. The only feedback I would give is perhaps deep cleaning the couch and replacing the cushions. The wear and tear smell was obvious to me. Otherwise, I loved the home and would definitely visit again.

Cozy Cottage

My husband, dog, & I had the best time staying at the cozy cottage! It was the perfect get away! Everything was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was also a plus and was very clean. The cottage was in a perfect area. It was close to stores and restaurants. Very nice neighborhood to walk your dog, and there’s also a nice trail to walk. We also enjoyed some fishing at the creek! I highly recommend staying at the cozy cottage! We will def. be back! 😃

Just The Right Size

The cottage was just perfect for a couple wanting to spend time in the mountains, hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was very comfortable, well furnished for cooking some meals, and just unwinding and relaxing. Frank was very easy to deal with, and always just a phone call away for questions. He made sure our stay was perfect, and even suggested some hiking trails we should not miss. (If you like hiking, we suggest the Cascades and Linville Falls on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Profile trail in Grandfather Mountain Park! )

Convenient cabin

The cabin is small but had everything we needed kitchen was stocked plenty of linens, pillows and towels. The pull out bed was very uncomfortable thankfully it was a child sleeping on it but for an adult it would not have worked. The location was convenient to some restaurants and a grocery store and in between several ski resorts. The listing made the property look more secluded when there were neighbors right on top of you. The hot tub was great and so was the fireplace. Frank was excellent with staying in communication and letting us know how to reach him if needed. Overall it’s an excellent place for the price

December 2022

This was our second year spending Christmas at this location. Check in was at 3:00, but due to the previous guests leaving late, we didn’t get the property until 4:30. We used the hot tub the first night and the chemicals were off balance which caused us skin irritation. It was unusually cold one night, we had to spend most of the day in the bedroom with the doors closed in order to stay warm. We really love the location and the property is clean.

Not newly remodeled or as listed

The property was hard to find at first. We kept looking for the property that said it has skis on the front as per description It was cold, only heated with fake fireplaces. Musty smelling, 1/2 roll of PT& TP, patio door was filthy. There was no DVD player or movies as stated in description. The couch had zero support. The dryer took forever to dry our clothes which had linens left in it… Just a suggestion for the owner to update your information on VRBO. It also would be helpful if they could type up internet information and possibly a suggestions on restaurants Etc in the area as reception is spotty and we were unable to connect. Thank you, nice area and location.

Our stay was fabulous and so was the host. We had a vehicle emergency and had no way to leave town and everywhere was booked due to college move in wkend. We contacted him directly and he accomodated us another evening. He and his wonderful little cottage were an answer to prayer. It was clean, very conveniently located to Banner Elk and done get me started on the stress relieving beni's od the hot tub. I highly recimmend and we WILL be back! Thanx again!!!

You can't get any better.

This is the nicest place I've ever stayed in. The manager was terrific. If you need anything, you just let him know and it's done. The help, she's fantastic the place is spotless. I would have stayed longer but it was already rented. I think this is a great place for anyone to stay. The area is very nice and friendly, hot tub was a plus. Everything was just great. Thank you for letting us stay in such a beautiful place.
