It is centrally located near Boone, North Carolina, Tweetsie Railroad(20min), Grandfather Mountain(15min), Linville Falls(30min), and Sugar(12min) and Beech Mountain(17min) Ski Resorts.

Cottage in the Round is a spacious one bedroom, one bath house add. sleeping with queen sleeper sofa, with all new interior that includes hardwood floors, a romantic gas fireplace, new bedding, a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, and all the extras that make this vacation house a great place to visit. Great gas grill for those who wish to cook out in style.

The living room, with a queen sleeper sofa, has a wonderful gas fireplace and is decorated with an upscale mountain motif. The living room looks out onto the private deck that is surrounded by native hemlocks and rhododendrons and also has a large hot tub to sit in and watch the beautiful mountain sky. The peace and beauty of this spot will make you want to come back again and again.

Although the inside of this house has much to offer, the surrounding grounds are also a holiday delight. This private community has its own swimming pool, tennis courts, ponds for ducks and fishing, playground, horseshoes, volleyball, and groomed trails all the way to the top of the mountain. This is a delightful kid-friendly place that also borders the favorite fly-fishing spots for the local speckled trout. Your family will love all there is to offer in the friendly and safe atmosphere for family fun.

Very responsive owner

Great place! We couldn't figure out the fireplaces and the owner was very responsive and nice! Very safe area. Quiet and peaceful.

Not newly remodeled or as listed

The property was hard to find at first. We kept looking for the property that said it has skis on the front as per description It was cold, only heated with fake fireplaces. Musty smelling, 1/2 roll of PT& TP, patio door was filthy. There was no DVD player or movies as stated in description. The couch had zero support. The dryer took forever to dry our clothes which had linens left in it… Just a suggestion for the owner to update your information on VRBO. It also would be helpful if they could type up internet information and possibly a suggestions on restaurants Etc in the area as reception is spotty and we were unable to connect. Thank you, nice area and location.

Great cabin. The only reason I say a 2 for cleanliness is because the hot tub was very dirty; unusable. The hot tub is one of the features we love most about this house - especially when there is snow.

Honeymoon Stay

We had a great full week stay at this cottage. We enjoyed the location and property. Both fireplaces provided plenty of heat for a winter stay. We didn’t have to keep both on all the time either. Hoping we can revisit this location!
