This place was perfect for our family. Very clean upon arrival. Location was close to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. You definitely need a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months, especially if it snows. Overall a great stay!
Everything was perfect!! Kitchen was the best equipped of any I have stayed in. Very clean with comfy beds and great shower. View from the deck of the mountains lovely. Great location for hiking the trails. Cool, fresh mountain air… a great escape from the heat and humidity of central NC.
Cabin was perfect! We were there for a music festival at Beech Mountain. Location was great, and the property had absolutely everything we needed, and was very clean. Check in was seamless, and detailed instructions were provided for the entire process. Excellent rental, I would highly recommend. We loved seeing the deer!!

Just what I needed
I enjoyed my stay. The place was very clean. The house next door is close but I never heard anyone. The road is closed near the house, so double check your gps before you get too far down the mountain bc you may need to take an alternate road.
We loved our stay here! I’ve been to several cabins in Boone and Banner Elk and this is the most perfectly located. A 5 minute drive to Fred’s, easy to access and tons of well thought out quality of life touches. Thank you for helping make an amazing anniversary trip 😁
Property and accommodations were great. Convenient. Been coming to Beech for years but first time staying here. Would absolutely return. Easy process from start to finish.
This was our first time skiing in Beech Mountain. We absolutely loved the cabin. It was very clean and cozy. I reached out to the owner beforehand to ask a few questions about the area and he was very quick to respond. We will definitely be back!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Deer were amazing! Location was great and we highly recommend Holy Smokes Bar B Qu in Beech Mountain. The only suggestion would be a few basic casserole dishes and mixing bowls. Communication with property manager was great!

We appreciate your review! The location is one of the highlights of this home, and we’re thrilled you enjoyed it. We followed up with the homeowner, and they’d like to share the following:
- The guest asked about the thermostat, and we explained that there is no A/C but suggested using windows and fans. Temps were in the 80s by day and 60s at night, which we’ve found comfortable during our stays.
- Our listing notes that there is no A/C, and we’ve since updated the description to make this even clearer for future guests.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us deliver the 5-star stays we’re known for.
Nice property, well presented.
The 1/2 bath off of the master bedroom is TINY!
We appreciated the TV & internet on our rainy day, and when the weather was nice, it was a great place to come 'home' to.
There is no air condition in any room and it was extremely hot and stuffy. Opening windows or the fan did not help much so though beautiful place, nights were very uncomfortable.
Well stocked with everything you may need to have a great vacation. Love the layout of two bedrooms split by a tiny hallway with a bathroom. The other half of the cabin is a large open living room/kitchen/dining area. Quiet area with tons of deer that just graze right beside the road and don’t spook easily. Definitely highly recommended.
From the owners: "We apologize that your experience was less than stellar. Given that it’s a 751 sq foot cabin, we are rather space constrained. That being said, we do have plans to remodel our bathroom in 2023 in hopes of having more room."
