This property was even better than the pictures. It worked so well for our family with the set up having private spaces for everyone but also having incredible outdoor spaces for everyone to gather. Communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommend this property!

This stay was absolutely amazing! The house has so much more to offer than we had time to use. I would certainly come back to this home when visiting the Big Island again! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub! The kitchen is very well stocked!

Wonderful home for a family vacation

Great house with the family. Loved the pod layout. We used the pool every day. Very thoughtful touches throughout. Kitchen set up for cooking in with a large group which we appreciated. Owners very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely come back!

The house, the host, the set-up was beyond our expectations! Highly recommend this home. We were sad to leave and would’ve loved an extra 3 days! 10/10. It was perfect for our family of six (4 teenagers). It was perfectly spaced so we always had our own areas when needed. This place had all the amenities for going to the beach, cooking at home and even a newly arrived 6 person golf cart to explore the Mauna lani area. The cleanliness of the home and the top notch landscaping really stood out.

Great Stay

Stayed with my kids and grandkids. Loved location and the pool along with each family having private space (bedroom pods) and shared space (house and pool). Location is very convenient and the golf cart is a hit. Recommend. Hosts are very responsive and will try to stay with them again in the future.

Perfect property for our family getaway

This was the perfect property for our 4 families to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Every family got their own suite and the shared living spaces were all so inviting and open. Hosts responded quickly to all questions about where things were located and the amenities quickly and professionally. Would 10000% stay here again!

Perfect for family celebration

Hale Mele was a perfect location for our family vacation/celebration. The property is beautiful, clean, and well provisioned. Great amenities and a very communicative host. The pods are great for privacy and the common areas are wonderful gathering places. We will definitely book again.

Fantastic trip

Our party of 9 stayed for 10 days and had a fantastic time. The floor plan is excellent in that everyone has their own privacy during the stay. The directions and communication from the owner was outstanding. The house was immaculate and comes with everything you could think of. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Stay

Wonderful home for our extended family. The hale style home worked perfectly for our group of grandparents, parents, teens, and kids with different wake up times and bedtimes! The house was stunning. Our favorite spot (other than the hot tub) was the tower overlooking Palm trees with views out to the ocean. Would stay here again. 10/10!

We had a great stay at Peter's property (grandparents, kids, grandkids). The bungalow layout of the house works great for multiple families and kids. The golf cart was great to get to and from the beach down the street as well. Would absolutely come back!

2 families with 9 total people had a wonderful time in this home. Great setup with open air feel, pool/hot tub and location. The owners were very helpful with communicating and local referrals. Look forward to returning in the future!
