This 4 bedroom, 2100 square foot home, comfortably sleeps 10 and is located within the KaMilo community which is part of the world class resort of Mauna Lani! Mauna Lani is on the beautiful Kohala Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. The grounds within KaMilo are well maintained and provide a lush tropical atmosphere.

The fully equipped kitchen with wine fridge, knife set, stainless steel appliances and granite counters is a chefs dream. The two Master bedrooms have full ensuites, king beds, walk in closets, and lanai's with bistro table or loungers. The third and fourth bedrooms include a queen bed and two double beds, with a full bathroom. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's (32' to 42') and cable. The open living room concept has a 50' flat screen TV. Retractable glass patio doors provide an open air environment between the great room and main lanai. Stepping outside, you will be greeted by a stainless steel BBQ, large patio table and outdoor ceiling fan. The home is fully stocked with paper products, spices, kitchenware, beach towels and pool toys. The property has a full sized washer and dryer.

The KaMilo complex has a putting green on-site. Located within a 2 minute walk of the property, is the private KaMilo resident's recreation center. It offers a state of the art workout facility, two hot tubs, two pools, cabanas, lounge chairs, patio tables and a covered pergola providing relaxation and a resort atmosphere. You are within walking distance to the Fairmont Orchid Hotel and The Shops at Mauna Lani. These venues provide a variety of restaurants, boutique shopping, food market and beach access.

You are a 5 minute drive (10 minute bike ride) to the Mauna Lani Private Beach Club which you gain access to as our guests. This Beach Club is located within a protected white sand beach cove at Makaiwa Bay. As our guest, you will have access to the beach chairs and cabana chairs. Napua at Mauna Lani Beach Club is the on-site open air restaurant and is open for lunch and dinner.

Great family getaway

We stayed at this property with our kids. The place was great. Equipped with everything you need. Access to two pools and ocean beach. It was a great location. Very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Beautiful condo

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious condo. Great proximity to many beaches and walking distance to lovely pool. My whole family had a great time. Especially nice bathrooms and linens!

Very nice place

It’s a beautiful place perfect for 2 families. More than enough space for adults and kids. The property is well kept and close by to beach, other resort options. Place is also well stocked in kitchen and garage has beach gear and bikes.

This property was gorgeous! The house, the grounds, the neighborhood setting, was just perfect for our three families. It's a two minute walk from the house to the neighborhood pool and hot tub (which were beautiful) and was a wonderful way to end our beach or volcano days. This house is conveniently located to several beautiful beaches. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. Every pot, pan, appliance, you could possibly need is provided. Beach gear, towels, snorkels, boogie boards and two bikes are all provided. I would highly recommend this house on this beautiful island. I always expect to have some little glitch that has to be dealt with when we rent vacation homes but this house had none! It was perfect. Thank you so much Heidi and Miguel for providing such a wonderful place to stay on the Big Island!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay

Our stay on the big Island was absolutely fantastic. The home fit our family very well. (4 adults and 6 kids). The double master suites were perfect. The home had everything we needed. The beech supplies were awesome and very appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again.

This property exceeded our expectation. They thought of everything as if we were at home. Family trip

It was ideal for our family. The house is well stocked and we all enjoyed the location, more peaceful than some other resort areas. The visitors book gave detailed information, not only for the house and it's operations but for beaches, dining, shopping etc. Although we did not need the equipment, it was very well supplied for little ones as well. Plenty of beach gear, too. Birds, flowers and that beautiful breeze. A great relaxing holiday.

Amazing

What an amazing house and neighborhood. The house had ever amenity you could thing of (including recreation material). Very well stocked. We were able to enjoy family meals inside and out. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the recreation center and beach access. We enjoyed walks to the beach in the morning, as well as biking to the store. The property manager was in communication, although we did not need to access them. Highly, highly recommend this house. The two owner suites were perfect. We were very happy with our stay.

Perfect for our multigenerational family

Mauna Lani is a beautiful development. The home is beautifully furnished, fairly well, outfitted, and very close to the beach club. One word of caution: if you are looking to Beach hop, don’t count on it. Although “Shoreline Access “ is touted widely, the gate personnel are generally unwilling to honor that and routinely find excuses to deny access. That is of very little consequence, however, since the beach club is beautiful, with excellent snorkeling, and with access to the adjacent, historic fish ponds and queens bath. Overall, this was the best part of our trip!

Fantastic property with all the amenities

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this Ka Milo property in Mauna Lani. The home was clean and had every amenity you need for a truly wonderful vacation. Enjoyed the beach, pool and workout room. Home was well stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel equipment and floats. The owners have truly thought of everything! Communication was excellent and the property was easy to find. The owners even granted us a slightly later checkout time. Beds in the 2 master bedrooms were incredibly comfortable (The beds in the other 2 bedrooms could use a mattress topper to make them more comfortable). Do not hesitate to book this property-it is wonderful and a great value. We hope to return soon!

Amazing property and owner

The boo,ing of this property was very straightforward. Heidi was outstanding as fast as getting back to us to answer any questions. This really assured us that in the event we hit a snag we would be able to resolve it quickly. But there wasn't a snag in sight! The checking was a breeze, and the accommodations fantastic! Plenty of room for the 9 of us to spread out. Room to dine, both inside and out. Short walk to the pool and short drive to the beach. And a garage well stocked with swim fans, boogie boards, etc. House was beautifully decorated and very clean. Next trip to the big island we will be looking to book this property.

Gorgeous quiet resort townhome

Beautiful quiet resort townhome that is perfectly designed for large groups. Everyone has their own quiet space with large gathering area to come together. The owners have really thought through the vacation experience and have provided everything you may need. My personal favorite experience, that hasn’t been mentioned much in the reviews, is having a cup of coffee on the deck and watching the sunrise. It’s absolutely stunning! Also make sure to check out the telescope, as the stars are amazing. The grounds of the property are just beautiful and really create a sense of privacy for the unit. Multiple places to enjoy the sunsets just minutes away, from the Fairmont grounds, Puako, Hapuna Beach, all through the Mauna Lani Resort, Lava Lava Beach Club, etc. One tip, if you want to enjoy one of the more exceptional restaurants with sunset views and fine dining, make reservations well in advance. All said, I would highly recommend this property! They have earned the 5 stars!

Just WOW!!!!! This is the one you want in Mauna Lani!!!!

Just WOW!!!!!! These guys need to teach classes in VRBO hosting! Everything in the home was labelled. Everything you need, but not cluttered at all. They were super responsive as needed. The location is awesome. Short walk to the pool. Has a private yard with sunrise views and peak-a-book views of the ocean off the top bedroom. The furnishings are modern, the electronics worked without fail, the beach/pool toys were a huge plus and in good shape. The kitchen is very gourmet and the BBQ was in near-new condition. The Mauna Lani private beach was a huge plus with amazing reef snorkeling. Good food was available in walking distance at Juice 101 and Foodland. The pool area in this complex is huge and the gym was more than adequate. Some VRBOs you feel like you're staying in someone else's house, not this one. It felt more like a high-end resort that was a house. We will back for sure and hopefully staying in this unit in Ka Milo.

There was not one thing missing from our “home”. From the very timely and thorough communications from the owners (thank you Heidi) to the covering of every need you might have for your stay… Fantastic! We were there with our son, daughter -in -law and 3 grandchildren 10, 7, and 6 We loved the pool, evenings on the lanai, and all the equipment that we used daily for our excursions to the beaches, biking, and exploring. Makes us smile just thinking about our stay. 10 out of 10

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was so lovely and clean and definitely met all our needs—including the needs of our toddlers. It was close to the pools, market, and beach. There are a lot of beach toys, snorkeling gear, and games available to use. The hosts are very kind and helpful and are great with communicating and responding to questions. I highly recommend this place. I’m hoping we will return sometime.

We really enjoyed our trip. It was perfect. Fabulous. Heidi our host was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our 3 generation family.The home has a grand master suite upstairs that I used. It was quiet and away from the noise and business of the younger group downstairs. I’m 83 and it was a perfect get away for me. It also had a lovely view of the morning sunrise over the mountains. The home had good snorkeling equipment which my family enjoyed and they were all excited about the abundance of fish at the near by beach and I appreciated the pool which was just a 5 minute walk from the condo. The large kitchen was fully equipped and my very excellent family chefs made good use of all the spices and we were treated to some very delicious meals.Thank you, Heidi.
