Welcome to Fairways 605 at the Mauna Lani resort. Fairways is a gated community, with lush grounds, a tropical style pool and hot tub.

This luxurious townhouse is located in a prime location within the Fairways property and is positioned for ultimate privacy and a 180 degree view of the golf course and Kohala Mountains from the lanai. With its built in Viking Grill, 2 outdoor loungers and a teak table to seat 6, the Lanai is where you will want to enjoy your morning Kona coffee and beautiful Hawaiian sunset dinners.

Inside, the townhouse boasts tasteful and warm décor with new ceiling fans in every room and a tropical bamboo floor. The property's unique positioning allows natural light and outdoor views throughout the unit. In the kitchen you’ll find high-end stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, Henckel knives, Riedel wine glasses and a fully stocked kitchen for creating gourmet food whether cooking, grilling, or baking! The pantry is stocked with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sugar, spices, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Dish soap, tin foil, plastic wrap, storage bags, laundry products, and beach towels are also supplied.

This 2 story, 1950 Sq ft, corner townhouse unit has 3 large bedrooms. The expansive Master on the ground floor is a tropical sanctuary with access to the lanai through large patio doors. The en suite has a Jacuzzi tub, over-sized separate shower, private toilet room and large walk-in closet with built in cabinetry. A desk in the Master, with views out to the Kohala mountains, provides space for quiet contemplation, to catch up on emails, or to check in with work (a hardwired connection is also available). Upstairs you will find a large Queen Bedroom and another guest room with 2 twin beds. The upper floor offers expansive views of the golf course, Mauna Kea, and Mauna Loa. Each bedroom has a 40 inch Smart HD flat screen TV with cable and access to our property Netflix account.

Our home is designed up for indoor and outdoor entertainment. You’ll find a 65” HD TV in the Great Room, high-speed Internet (with boosters throughout the unit), a DVD player with 40+ movies, books, and games. There is an I-pad available for use during your stay with Hawaiian music downloaded for your listening pleasure. Outdoor gear is stored in the garage for your use. This includes: 4 boogie boards, a large plastic cooler, small soft-sided coolers, market bags, 8 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, pool noodles and more! Everything you need to pack a picnic and enjoy a day at one the nearby spectacular beaches or at the gorgeous resort pool. The property includes one ground level parking stall for your stay.

Fairways 605 is the ultimate Hawaiian retreat. Close to all the amenities of the Mauna Lani resort with a comfortable up-scale flare to let you enjoy the sweet Aloha spirit. The Mauna Lani resort is 20 minutes north of the airport and is located in the sunniest area of the Island meaning nearly perfect weather conditions all year round. Within walking distance (or a very short drive) are 2 world class hotels; the Shops at Mauna Lani; spa, fitness & golf options; and the Mauna Lani Beach Club. When you stay at Fairways 605 you will receive an Access card to the exclusive Beach Club where you can enjoy a white sand beach, cabanas, lounge chairs and excellent snorkeling. The Napua Restaurant, also on the Beach Club grounds, is a great spot for lunch, an afternoon Mai Tai, or a sunset dinner with live music.

Mauna Lani is between the resorts of Waikoloa and Mauna Kea providing you access to numerous beaches and parks, local cultural activities, and the best shopping and dining on the Island within a 10 minute drive. Well kept, well stocked and well looked after place.Enjoyed staying here immensely. Filled with thoughtful adds - games, DVDs, detailed instruction, even had all the manuals for the multiple appliances supplied for use.I would love to stay there any time I am in the area.Just one thing to be aware of is that this only has 1 official parking spot available, but the instruction sheet does suggest how to accommodate for more than the one spot

Great stay on the big island

Our family had a great vacation staying here. The location was perfect and the property itself was also great. This was probably the best stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed at, from the kitchen utensils/bakeware/food to beach towels to all the beach and pool accessories and toys you could need. They even had birthday candles, which we used to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Not only was it incredibly stocked but everything was very organized and clearly labeled. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family vacation.

Amazing condo in great location.

We had a great stay in Kona and absolutely loved this condo. The space was larger than it appears in the photos and very well appointed. We really appreciated the beach gear and all the tips and tricks left for us in order to best enjoy the island. Next time we will stay longer as we didn’t have near enough time to do everything we wanted.

Fantastic stay!

This house did not disappoint! There was every amenity that we needed, including a wide variety of beach items. The private beach that we had access to was also fantastic, with a great spot for snorkeling. I would highly recommend a stay at this house and we can’t wait to come back!

This villa is an excellent vacation home for a couple or a whole family! It is beautifully furnished in every room. We appreciated having the primary bedroom on the main floor. The kitchen is the best set up we have experienced in the past 12 years of vacation rentals. Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean.

Perfect vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. The inside was beautifully styled to match the tropical feeling on the island. The neighborhood and surrounding area were welcoming, fun, and exciting. Everything was clean and tidy. Our host also provided us with information and recommendations on where to go during our stay, many of which helped us a lot. For anybody planning to go to the Big Island with friends or family, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended and we feel so lucky having the opportunity staying here.

Well-outfitted condo with great location

We have stayed in several condos in this development and this was by far the best outfitted and best located of them all. The kitchen had all the cookware and serving items you could imagine. Little touches like ample boxes of tissues, a variety of body lotions and soaps, etc., were so convenient to have. It was nice to have the cooking necessities such as spices, oils, vinegars and the like there. There was snorkeling gear in many sizes, as well as coolers, beach equipment (umbrella, chairs, etc) and ample beach towels. The lanai is very private and perfect for dinner each evening. I highly recommend this condo!

Fantastic Property!

Our family stayed here for 6 nights and we were so satisfied with our stay! The townhouse is exactly as advertised: beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. We really appreciated the coolers/ice packs/beach towels/snorkel gear that is stored in the garage. We made use of the propane grill for a couple of the nights. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook comfortably. The master bedroom mattress is supportive and very comfortable, as is the living room furniture. We would stay at this property again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful condo in Mauna Lani

This condo was perfect for our family … parents and adult children with mates. The hosts provided for everything imaginable from a perfect kitchen, to lovely bedrooms to beach gear. We were so comfortable and then some. Honestly, this was the best outfitted and decorated condo we have ever rented. Thank you Jaime for being so responsive to my questions during the stay. It’s all now a wonderful memory and much of it thanks to this great condo. 5+ stars!

Such a gem!!!!

This place was awesome!!!! The decor…. Such island vibes… the overstocked kitchen of condiments and every cooking item imaginable. The beach gear was so plentiful and even included a wagon. The lanai was beautiful so serene and calm overlooking a host of greenery. Beds were super comfortable. The location of this property was great. Convenience to so much. The gated community was a nice touch. The pool refreshing. The private beach that we were given access to was fabulous and the restaurant was delicious. The hosts were readily available for questions and concerns… I would stay here again!!!! Enjoyed every minute of this island paradise! Mahalo!!

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful scenery with so much to do. Lots of beach equipment including snorkeling gear. However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the place especially in the kitchen - dirty dishes, greasy pots & baking sheets in the cupboards. Coffee pot & toaster needed cleaning. Drink rings on glass tabletops. Lots of dust on ceiling fan upstairs and under master bed. Mold in master shower. The whole place needed a DEEP cleaning.

Beyond Excellent

The town home is gorgeous with lots of room for the entire family. Thought fully decorated. The home is wonderfully equipped with top quality appliances and cook wear. My gourmet wife was in her element in the kitchen, the out door grill / barbecue allowed us to enjoy the Lani while cooking lunch or supper. The owner has provided a large number of pool and ocean toys from pool noodles to snorkel gear, with beach chairs and coolers to take your lunch to the beach. The access to Mauna Lani beach club was also a huge benefit, great swimming and snorkelling available any time you wish. All in all my wife and I agree possibly the best VRBO we have rented. Yes we will be renting the unit on our next trip to the Big Iskand

Big Island Vacay

Townhome was exceptional with newer furnishings and top of the line appliances. Very clean. Luxury experience. Garage included everything we needed for the beach. Property on whole was lovely with beautiful trees and flowers, walking paths, pool and spa. Location has easy walking or driving access to multiple beaches. Beach Club access was a huge difference maker with really good snorkeling in a cove good for the whole family - variety of reef fish, sea turtles, sea cucumbers, urchins, etc. Resort bars and restaurants served good drinks and food with relaxed outdoor atmosphere. Communication with host was great. Proactive check-in details, very thorough. Onsite property manager was helpful and available for our needs. Everyone was responsive and thoughtful. Huge mahalo to Jamie, Francine and Tannis for making our stay on the Big Island the best ever!

Our family of four spent 9 nights here and absolutely loved it! The property is beautiful and lived up to the photos. The garage has all the typical beach accessories you could need and more. Was pleasantly surprised to even find some footballs that we could toss on the beach. They also provide great beach towels to use. As others have commented, the Beach Club access is a huge benefit - it’s a less than 10 min drive from the house to the beach parking lot which is access controlled by a key card so parking there was never a problem (we usually got to the beach by 10ish). The beach was great for snorkeling and just enjoying yourself. We went multiple times and found it was never super crowded but it does pick up as the day goes on; highly recommend visiting late afternoon too. Sunset from the walking path on either side of the beach was gorgeous. The pool at the resort complex was also great and about a 3 min walk from the house. There is a Foodland grocery store that is about a 5 min drive from the house which had a good selection of most anything we needed. We signed up for the Foodland reward program ahead of time and it added up to significant discounts so I would definitely recommend doing that.We did the luau at the Fairmont Orchid (5 stars for that as well) which was also about 5 min away so it was very convenient (it is walkable if you are motivated and want to work off a big dinner). The drive to Volcano National Park was about 2 hours but is totally worth it.

You won’t be disappointed if you book this property. The location is great with easy access to shops, beaches, restaurants and activities. The beach club access was a huge hit with our kids and an easy place to go and relax with no worries about rough water. The hosts were very quick to respond and super helpful with tips on what to do and where to go. The property itself was one of the best we’ve stayed at. It was well-kept, beautiful view and great location within the complex. It had so many extras that made it easy to be on vacation but still feel at home, especially with the kids. The pool was great and easy to get to. Would definitely recommend!

Everything you need in a beautiful condo

Lovely stay on the BI! This house has everything you need! It seemed like every time we needed something I was able to find it! The kitchen was amazing and everything we needed plus more. The cooking pans were top notch and all the dinnerwear too. It was convenient to have all the pool and beach toys too. The place was clean and cozy it was great for the little ones and adults alike!

Amazing In Every Way!

My wife and I have been coming to the Mauna Lani resort for 8 years, and this is our 2nd year in the Fairways and our 1st year in this beautiful condo. We have already reserved our two weeks here for next January, and will hope to spend the rest of our visits to the Big Island in this beautiful home!We’ve never seen a condo so well equipped (we dare you to list a kitchen need that has not already been thought of!), so beautifully decorated, and with such a practical layout (master suite on the ground floor, with extra bedrooms upstairs for family or guests). Glasses and plates in abundance – both plastic for the kids and ceramic for the adults. All the appliances and pots/pans you’d ever need. And so many beach towels and house towels…you’ll never run out!This condo is large, with space for all with room to spare. The furniture and fixtures are first-rate (most comfortable couch we’ve ever sat on!). The garage is stuffed with lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and beach toys…just amazing. And the boogie boards are new…a nice change from other condos! The condo was immaculately clean upon our arrival, and our communications with the owners were answered promptly and effectively. We've traveled to all the Hawaiian Islands and the Big Island is our favourite. It is a special place on earth...where else could you be in snow, at the rim of a volcano crater, in the warm ocean, golfing on an award winning course, and see Saturn's rings all in one day? The Big Island offers the best of Aloha with its warm and friendly people, amazing local foods, fascinating landscape and outdoor activities. We looked at many properties over our visits to the Island and decided to purchase in Mauna Lani for its elegance and relaxed pace. Its truly a paradise.

What makes this property unique

Our townhouse offers a stunning view of the golf course and lush grounds and is very private while still close to the pool. The large lanai spills onto lush grass perfect for kids to play on in a safe environment. The open plan, high ceiling, and large sized rooms create a sense of space and elegance - which we really like.
