OUR HOME IS CLOSEST TO THE SHOPS YET GUESTS LOVE THE SPACIOUS GROUNDS AND PRIVACY OF OUR UNIT.
We continue to update and refresh our home to ensure it's the optimal space for your stay in paradise including:

We invite you to stay in our beautiful slice of Hawaii! Our home is located in THE VILLAGES, a private, gated community near everything! The Villages offers guests maximum comfort and convenience. Our home is walking distance to all of Mauna Lani's amenities and card key access is provided to the newly updated Private Beach Club during your stay.
Our 2,200 sq. ft. home (plus over 600 ft of private balconies and lanai's) was built in the first stage of The Villages.
The unique features of this home compared to other homes in The Villages are:
*One of two units with shared lava rock wall from driveway to front door for added privacy
*Next to and behind one story units versus two story units ensures complete privacy with the added perk of afternoon/evening sun on the lanai!
*Beautiful mountain views from the front on a quiet side street with only 5 homes.
*All upgrades possible during construction of the unit
*New lounge chairs on the patio and a wonderful outdoor living room updates the lanai space! Pictures on fb
Enjoy the best of both worlds as you are shielded from the two main roads leading into The Villages by an expansive, raised, tropically landscaped island- Peace of mind with smaller children as only a handful of homes sit on our quiet little street. It's a short 124 yard stroll to The Shops (Farmland Foods gourmet grocery store, Tommy Bahama Cafe, Big Island Taproom and more)
We LOVE the "Lehua" layout with more window walls than any other plan in The Villages. Five huge 8 ft. sliding doors give a inside/outside feeling without the critters. All sliders are screened (unlike Kamilo's sliders-our closest competition. :) The great room expands through a large window-wall pocket door and additional huge slider off the dining room to a spacious lanai and yard, creating a fun, entertaining space.
All kitchen items are top of the line and you will find nothing missing for any size meal you choose to prepare including, stainless steel appliances, GE dishwasher, island with double sink, large Sub-Zero refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster.
Upstairs, a long private hallway leads to the Cal-king ensuite with it's own screened slider to a private balcony with sitting area. You'll find the entrance to the walk-in closet with built-ins and large bathroom with spacious soaking tub along this hallway.
The Twin ensuite bedroom has two twin beds (can be converted to a king bed upon request) plus a twin size daybed.
The main floor Queen bedroom is a private suite with access to an adjoining bathroom with a walk or roll-in shower.
A pocket door off the 1/2 bath (powder room) reveals a large laundry room with garment hanging bar, complementary laundry soap and beach towels during your stay.
New 2024 smart Flat screen t.v.'s in all rooms along with high speed "WHOLE house/lanai COVERAGE" WIFI.
Two Large sliders (One is a 17 ft. window wall) lead out to the expansive lanai with ample room for the seating area, dining area and kitchen. Beautiful refinished teak dining with comfortable cushioned chairs seats 6-8 people. The outside kitchen includes a built-in barbecue, refrigerator, and sink. The outdoor living room has a cozy loveseat, two chair/ottomans and coffee/side tables.
Opposite the large lanai, two more large sliders lead to a separate private patio off the kitchen/living rooms. Cushioned lounge chairs beckon for napping, morning coffee or a quiet reading spot.
Private Beach club access! Napua (the privated beach clubs wonderful restaurant) has recently undergone a full renovation with newly expanded bar space and additional seating in the restuarant. The Beach Club has added new restrooms for beach goers and a brand new lifeguard stand.
The Villages amenity center is walking distance (short cut at unit 207;) from our place (The Villages has THE WARM POOL in Mauna Lani!)

Mauna Lani is situated in the heart of the sunny Kohala coast. As past renters in Mauna Lani we found the The Villages to be the perfect combination of resort living (with easy access to it's amenities) yet peaceful and relaxing. The expansive lanais at The Villages invite you to live outside!
We like the privacy of the homes, quality of construction and close proximity to the shops. The Villages' pool has a very nice temperature that is great for kids of all ages!
We enjoy hanging out at the beach club and taking walks through the lava caves and fishponds. We love to play golf and tennis in Mauna Lani!

What makes this property unique
Returning guests to The Villages are pleasantly surprised by how private our unit is. There are no homes looking into our backyard. During the initial phase of construction, a lava wall was built between our unit and the next. We have been told that the cost of this wall became too expensive to replicate throughout the development so it is unique to our place! In addition, we think you'll love our home because of the open layout to the large private lanai and yard. Our home is professionally decorated with Tommy Bahama furniture and soothing paint colors- Resort furniture can be aesthetic but uncomfortable, we have the perfect mix of aloha with the added benefit of the most comfortable sectional couch you will ever lounge on! We want you to feel at home while on your vacation in paradise!
We also want to make sure you have the fasted WIFI possible. We have upgraded to 12 volt Ruckus AP power supplies around the house to ensure the best signal everywhere in addition to a fancy self healing modem.
You'll enjoy the quick walk to the shops for the newspaper in the morning and the short stroll to the pool. We provide Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 2 cruiser bikes and beach/pool toys for our guests to use.
We also want to make sure you have the fasted WIFI possible. We have upgraded to 12 volt Ruckus AP power supplies around the house to ensure the best signal everywhere in addition to a fancy self healing modem.
