Effective April 2024 to November 2024 the Mauna Kea will be enhancing their hotel. Full beach and amenity access still prevails. The Westin Hapuna Golf Course remains open, while the Mauna Kea course is getting a make-over.

Welcome to Wai'ula'ula' at the Mauna Kea Resort!

This exquisite upstairs west facing unit within the private gated community of Wai'ula'ula at Mauna Kea Resort offers panoramic ocean and sunsets views where the indoor/outdoor living become one! Push back the pocket doors to the spacious lanai with outdoor kitchen and BBQ to enjoy a sunset dinner or simply relax and read a good book.
Beautifully decorated with newly installed wood floors throughout, this three bedroom and three bathroom (two master king suites and twin room) highlight cherry wood cabinets, granite counter tops, and Wolf & SubZero appliances.

Guests at Wai’ula’ula enjoy the benefits of the next door private amenity center with a fitness room, infinity pool, keiki (children's) pool, spa, recreational pavilion with meeting room, and an outdoor BBQ area. The clubhouse is equipped with a complete kitchen, a large flat screen TV, and ample seating. In addition, guests at Wai'ula'ula enjoy the convenience of being within close proximity to Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach, two of the finest white sand beaches in Hawaii, with an opportunity to purchase access to the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna hotels.

I love Wai’ula’ula. The community is so great. The condo has everything you could need, plenty of space, great kitchen for meals at home, fantastic views for sunset. This particular unit is across from the pool and gym so very easy to access. Only thing I would call out is the unit is close to a road and currently there are lots of new homes being built. It can be a little noisy in the early morning with the heavy trucks driving by. If you are a very earlier riser, this will not bother you. Highly recommend!!

Oh my goodness what an amazing property. The home itself was worthy, and then adding in the clubhouse and especially resort access to both Mauna Key and Hapuna resorts was the cherry. Fortunate to spend July 4th here and seeing the local fireworks from the beach. Super well furnished and appointed. Beyond comfortable. Our host went above and beyond to support us on this trip. 100% recommend.

We came here for a family trip to celebrate some birthdays. Donna was wonderful and very responsive. The property was beautiful and had a great range of beach accessories in the garage. The view was stunning and we did not want to leave! Everything was in great working order and well stocked. We opted for resort access to Westin and Mauna Kea which was well worth it.

Wonderful home away from home

This is a fantastic property in a great location. Was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. We loved the views from the lanai at night and enjoyed access to two beautiful resorts for pool, food and beach. Highly recommend staying here, and Donna the owner was very responsive and wonderful to work with.

We had a wonderful week in this property. The bedrooms are lovely and the common area is spacious. We were pleasantly surprised by the pool and hot tub right next to the unit. We opted for the resort pass but it is not necessary to enjoy the amazing nearby beaches

Perfect Getaway spot for the Big Island

Beautifully appointed home although it was not the inside that I spent my time looking at. The views were incredible! High quality items in the home. It's the little things that you appreciate, sharp knives, working appliances and pretty dishes. Overall a great vacation. Super close to the beach and the tennis courts!
