I moved to Mexico from Dallas,Texas after a career in the high tech industry, fully intending to retire in Austin, Texas prior to "discovering" Lake Chapala, Mexico. This area of Mexico has perfect weather year round, without heat and humidity and is rated one of the best climates in the world. Additionally the cost of living is extremely low. A short 3 hour drive to the Pacific beaches of Manzanillo, Barria De Navidad, or Melaque. Puerto Vallerta is a 5 hour dirve away.

This property was purchased as new construction in 2013 and then modified to its present condition by the addition of the pool, landscaping and other improvements. The self contained casita is on the pool level and completely private. Fantastic world class views, with a large pool, simulated beach area, and Jacuzzi, Full Kitchen, with oven, stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, plates, silverware, and glasses. There is a large independent rock waterfall, and two other waterfall that operate in conjuction with the pool. The simulated beach is 18 inches deep with 4 submerged chairs for sunning, reading or just relaxing and the water falls over a negative edge into the main pool to be recirculated. Complete pool privacy and designed to look like a lagoon with walk in sloping. Outdoor BBQ and a portable stereo speaker for your own selection of music while relaxing around the pool is available, and there is an outdoor dining table. There are 4 loungers around the pool, and three large sun umbrellas. an outdoor teakwood bar with sun umbrella is in the pool area to watch the sunset or have breafast if an option from the other outdoor table is desired. Complimentary Netflix and private high speed wireless internet are provided. Bottled purified water is also provided, and the water from the tap is filtered and purified before entering the casita. A fantastic spa for massages,etc. is located within the Racquet Club ( 2 minutes from the casita).

A unique experience in tranquility in a quiet neighborhood in an upscale develpoment, where every house is different to due to mountains. There is 24 hour security and the Racquet Club is gated in addition to each individual home being gated. The views of sunrise and sunset are spectacular over the lake and moutains due to the positioning of the casita.
