If you're desiring a "Cabin in the Woods" with peace, serenity, and a chance to decompress your body and mind this is the place to do that. Maggie is an incredible woman that makes this all happen. 100% off grid, zero cell reception and nature galore. We will be going back several times a year for this gem of a get away.

I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay and the absolute peace and quiet. (By the way, most folks get cell service and I have an internet hot spot people can borrow if they need. Also the large bedroom has a shingle roof which gets better reception than the newer part with the metal roof. ) I appreciate your kind words. Thanks. And see you next time! Maggie
The cabin was very clean and neat, no a/c, but we knew that going into it. Luckily we had a nice breeze that cooled down the bedroom at night. Indoor toilet made things so much nicer. Maggie was great, took us out to the cabin and hooked up the battery to run the toilet. The only thing that would have made it nicer would be screens in the living room windows and sliding door to get a cross breeze in the living room.
Everything as advertised…cooler in the house than outside

Hi Folks, I spoke to you as you left and am glad you had a wonderful time. I asked you the best and the worst of the cabin. You said the best was the shower and did praise the cabin, and the worst was the mosquitos. The other response from your famiy was "the best was waking up in that nice bed and seeing just trees and woods out both sides of the room's windows, knowing that nobody is out there on the 10 acres" (or something like that) That is what we are "going for" and I am happy you enjoyed your stay. Maggie
We had a great time with our weekend in the woods. The right amount of space and everything we needed. Thank, Maggie for your hospitality - and the water!
We totally enjoyed our time back in the woods in this private cabin. The cabin was very clean. Its so quiet, no road noise, just the sound of the forest around you. The covered fire pit area is so nice. We will be coming back to stay again. Thanks Maggie
Definitely a cabin in the woods, which was just what we were looking for! We enjoyed the wonderful views through the windows, the shower experience, the comfortable bed, and building a fire under the shelter. This is definitely a rustic experience, its not a fancy cabin- but a simple cabin in the woods, that allows you to "camp" with all of the amenities provided. We loved it.
Perfect place to go off grid. It was primitive enough to be like tent camping but with a toilet. Maggie is the perfect host. We definitely will go back .
