Great beach stay

Was a great little spot, held our family of 6 with 4 of those under 10. Very close to boardwalk and beach as well. We will definitely be looking back into this next year.Great communication with owner as well, very quick responses!

The pictures tell an accurate story about what the place looks like. The property manager was fairly quick to respond to our messages. A nice feature is the jacuzzi (we didn't try using the pool but it also looked nice). In general, we were happy that we booked it and had a nice time, with the exception of a noticeably uncomfortable mattress.I do want to note a few things that were confusing -- ranging from minor issues, such as a lack of hand soap and no real response to it being mentioned, to more puzzling things like why the apartment number did not match the one that was in our VRBO confirmation, and why the stated check-in time was 1 hour later and the check-out time was 1 hour earlier than what was advertised on VRBO -- it ended up not affecting us but was a source of a bit of stress/confusion as nobody wants to start a vacation quibbling but this can affect travel plans. We did not try using the pool.

Updated hotel with a theme

We stayed at the sunflower hotel for a long weekend. We appreciated the retro setting furniture sign and theme. The window air conditioning wasn't working the first night My husband had to address it so it would stop turning off. The place is nothing fancy but it's clean. The pool is convenient and it's not far from the beach. The property manager was very friendly and social.

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything about this vacation from start to finish was PERFECT! I came with 2 of my girlfriends for our annual trip and we were there for the Country Fest. The location was far enough away from the crazy but close enough that we never had to drive anywhere the entire weekend. The woman in the office (I think her name was Sandra) was helpful and pleasant the entire time and always there if we needed it. We will definitely be returning!
