Thank you Kay, would love to have you visit again!
This is a great find, a beautiful, peaceful location that is an easy drive to several cute towns, parks, and hiking locations. The host was very courteous, helpful, and communicative.
My husband and I stayed here for several days during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was quiet, free of nighttime light pollution (we live in a city, so this matters) and afforded us a peaceful, comfortable little vacation.

The retreat was beautiful and the property was immaculate. It was a great place for our group to relax and enjoy time together. Had the weather been warmer I'm sure the outside amenities would have been great also.
Really enjoyed our trip! Gorgeous setting with lovely touches like nice linens, aromatherapy and soaps. Home is comfortable and cool. Location is near to McConnell state park and others - wonderful hiking, biking and kayaking. Recommend!

Thank you for your 5 star review Jill! We appreciated having you and your family as guests.
Beautiful green garden spot. Secluded but not far from all the necessities. Well appointed kitchen and baths. We loved watching the hummingbirds, the bees and especially the light show of fireflies over the lawn and among the trees. We are already thinking about a fall trip to take in the next season. Thanks Jenni!
I cannot say enough good things about this property. It’s beautiful, comfortable and is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We were in town for my son’s motorcycle races, so it was the absolutely perfect place to unwind and relax in the peacefulness of the property after a long day at the track. There are beautiful personal touches all throughout the property and home and it is a joy to be there.

I'm so grateful for your review Misty, and that you enjoyed this space so much! You were lovely guests and we'd appreciate having you and your family visit again in the future!
This roomy and well appointed property is in the most beautiful setting! Just being there and listening to the bird song in the surrounding forest is so therapeutic. I took off one point because we had trouble finding it. But I suppose that is part of it's charm, and the owner was readily available to get us on the right track.
So much more than we expected, and to some degree that's because of what is absent. Absence of noise, and the chorus of distraction so often ignored until it vanishes as it does in the woods. It was a place of discovery for us, and we hope our kind hosts will see fit to welcome us back some fine day. Thank you for this extraordinary experience.
My wife and I loved this place - great location and very peaceful. It was exactly what we were looking for. Owner was responsive to questions, kind, and helpful.
