This picturesque log cabin is nestled in the hills of the Mississippi River Bluffs. Perfect for a family getaway, a romantic weekend or can be used as a hunters paradise. Easy access to the river for a fun day of fishing. With plenty of local restaurants with amazing foods, just minutes away. You can tour the bluffs, go UTV riding, or go for a walk on the many walking trails along the Yellow River and Effigy Mounds. For the wine connoisseur, visit the area wineries in Waukon, Marquette, Lansing or Ferryville. This cabin features a large yard for parking and outdoor activities along with a picnic table. We are located on a county highway, just 1 mile away from town, which is where the public boat landing is. Just on the other side of the highway, are train tracks. The trains coming through are always blowing their horn, night and day, so something to be aware of! Some people love it, some hate it. The loft homes a queen sized bed and 2 double beds. Down stairs has a couch and a 2nd pull out couch with a reading space.

Great location for hiking and seeing the effigy mounds. Plenty of little towns nearby to have a meal if you so choose. The cabin is beautiful inside with all the amenities needed for a very cozy stay. Wonderful place for a quiet getaway!

We wanted a quick, 3 night getaway that was very low key. This cabin was perfect for us! We enjoyed nearby hiking during the day and reading by the fireplace in the evening. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Would happily stay here again. It is as pictured.
Our Anniversary trip with our two dogs was so relaxing and just what we were needing. With our trip falling just after Halloween, it was so fun sit in front of the fireplace in the cozy cabin and watch a scary movie! We were able to cook up a yummy dinner as well! The area is beautiful and close to everything! Thanks for the great stay!

The cabin was great I thought would be great bigger yard but very nice cabin
My dog, kids and I stayed for four nights over spring break. The cabin was pristine, adorable and very spacious, while feeling cozy. The owners are very organized and thoughtful of their guests. We've stayed in several cabins over the years and this one was the best.
My wife and I were very happy with the stay. The cabin was very nice and had everything that you would need (including things we should have rememebered to bring ourselves). Already have recommended it to family.

It was adorable very clean & nice. Host was excellent
Perfect for the two of us! Easy to find and easy check-in. Owners have gone out of their way to have everything you might need.
There was even nostalgic train traffic across the road at 1am:-)
Highly recommend!
This cabin was perfect for our 3 day R&R.
So nice & cozy & the deck was nice to sit & enjoy the weather. Enjoyed the surrounding towns as to what they had to offer, may it be shopping, restaurants, music by the river & beauriful views! Thanks for letting us stay @ your comfortable little cabin!
Cabin was very cute. It was clean and very well stocked with everything one could need. Except for the trains in the night the cabin was quiet. Would recommend.
