Lovely quiet getaway weekend with added bonus of trains coming through a few times a day ( my husband loved it). Great location close to the river towns with shopping, etc. Close to Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak park

A very well-maintained and cozy cabin. Had everything we needed and more. We went for the hiking and sightseeing but could have hung out at the cabin and just relaxed on the property…very private and quiet place with plenty of things to do.

Perfect for a relaxing, quiet weekend

We loved our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, plus some. Our kids loved the board games, the basketball hoop and sandbox. Quiet location. The few trains that went by didn’t bother us at all, our 4 year old actually loved watching them go by.

One issue

Overall would recommend but it had a pond in the listing as an amenity. It would have been great except the pond was pretty much drained

Very clean cabin..very well decorated, felt like we were off the grid, but still had modern amenities. The whole property was so quiet and peaceful..loved watching the wildlife walk through the area. Lots to do in the area..will definitely be making a trip back to this cabin
