This place was a good fit for my brother and I. It was clean and accommodating and put us where we wanted to be to do a little fishing. Just what the doctor ordered.

The Firefly Cottage is super cute, very clean and in a great location! We enjoyed our stay here and would return in the future. The owners responded quickly to our questions and we were able to check in early. The only downside is that to access the bathroom, you had to go through the main bedroom, which was awkward with two couples staying there. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute getaway in a great area!

Great stay- access was super easy and check in and out was simple. Cottage was small but clean and nicely finished. Close access to the state parks was awesome, we had a great time hiking with our two dogs. Our stay was before the full season open but seems like there are nice amenities on site during the summer. Always great to find nice pet friendly spots.

The cottage was wonderful. Extremely clean and well cared for. There were just two things that we would’ve wanted different. The pictures showed a K-Cup coffee maker so that’s what we were prepared for but it had been replaced with a standard coffee maker which we didn’t have supplies for. The other thing is that the window in front didn’t have blinds or curtains and that made my wife uncomfortable. All-in-all, we are looking forward to returning!

We loved our stay. The place was very clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing both in the sitting area watching Netflix and on the lovely outdoor porch. There's a fire pit and a nice grill. It was perfect for our party of two close friends. As others have written, you have to go through the larger bedroom to get to the bathroom. The smaller bedroom does have its own exterior door. This was not an issue for us, but for this reason it may be less than ideal for two couples or a larger friend group. Would recommend to two or three close friends or a small family!I would stay here again if I'm in the area. We also really enjoyed the Shipwreck bar, steps away.

This cute little cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. The neighborhood is quiet. There is a fire pit in the back yard. The full kitchen was nice and I had what was needed to cook and bake. There is a small but useful table with four chairs for eating at. The bathroom is small but fully stocked. The bathroom door makes an awful noise when opening it and it disturbed us at night. The bed is a nice size but way too soft. The headboard makes a loud noise when you turn over while sleeping. Overall this cottage is adorable and comfortable.

This cottage was very cute comfortable and well decorated. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Even around the outside there were beautiful perennials planted around the cottage. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage was clean, had all we needed. We were able to grill steaks and make dinner with all the things we needed. Very nicely decorated and soft towels and good bedding. Phone chargers provided. The neighborhood has a campground feel, very nice people and great bar down the road within walking distance, as well as a beachy area with chairs to sit and relax. The ceilings are super low throughout the cabin, almost too low for a 6'2" man. Loved that it was pet friendly!

This is listed as 2 bedroom property. You have to walk through the first bedroom to access the second. The bathroom is also in the first bedroom. It does not offer any privacy. I booked it just so friends could have private sleeping spaces. The pictures do not show this is the arrangement s. My friends were disappointed.

The Firefly Cabin was a great stay! The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, including basic seasonings. Lots of towels and back up paper products. Overall it was very clean and the pictures from the listing were accurate to what we found upon arrival. Clear instructions for check-in and for utilizing the amenities. Would stay again!

We had a very comfortable and quiet stay, other than the train nearby. We got used to the horn and rumble.The cottage is clean and well stocked with all essentials. The only challenge is there are no closets to hang any clothing. Hooks on the doors and walls would be useful for folks who don't want to live out of a suitcase. We found amazing views on both sides of the river, enjoying spectacular sunsets. All of the locals were super friendly and helpful at directing us to the highlights in the area.We'd return happily to the little gem.

The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. It was very comfortable and cozy. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had (which turned out to be a non-issue). The cottage was well supplied. The neighbors were very friendly and there was easy access to the river. The store at the end of the street sold basic items, which was convenient. The bar behind the store was awesome for a cold beer and meeting neighbors. It was a great neighborhood to walk my dogs.

The Firefly Cottage was very well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glasses, eating and cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and lots of clean towels in kitchen and bath; plenty of TP, kleenex, salt and pepper, and a few other kitchen items to use. There were 3 TV's! We did have difficulty getting the sound loud enough on the TV, couldn't figure it out. We could have called owner and I'm sure they would have helped us, but we chose not to call and used close captions. All in all, a great stay and would not hesitate to tell anyone to stay there. Beautiful area with lots to do.

This cottage was very small and cozy inside, but it had everything you might need to have a comfortable, enjoyable weekend. It was thoughtfully decorated and was clean. The kitchen had everything you might need to cook with. The location was easy to find and check in directions were easy to follow. The outside porch had plenty of seating and extra chairs for the fire pit. There is a window above where the kitchen table sits that does not have a curtain. Vehicles drive by at night and their lights shine in the window. We had to cover the window with a sheet. Mini blinds or a curtain is needed for this window. The sitting area by the main TV is a little small, but we had it work. Overall, I am very happy with this cottage. It is in a great location and was very comfortable and clean.
