What a lovely accommodation! Right in the heart of the old town, we were able to walk or take the free shuttle everywhere! Air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and dishwasher made it so comfortable. Would recommend highly!

My family of 4 had an amazing stay in this beautiful apartment! It had a great combination of historic feel and modern amenities. The air conditioning came in soooo helpful! The ceilings were quite low as expected but the exposed beams are really beautiful . The location can’t be beat old town Colmar is breathtakingly lovely.

Nice apartment located near the church in center of town. Easy to walk to major sites. We are both under 5’5” so the low ceilings were not problematic for us but if you are much taller you might bump your head on some of the exposed beams. The wooden beams give the property much character that we appreciated. We arranged for parking from the rental agency which worked out well. I was a bit uncomfortable paying Cotoon outside of the VRBO platform but all went well.

Perfect location comfortable apartment.

Clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Parts of the ceiling were low so if you're tall you may need to stoop in some places, but that is part of the character of this very charming old house. The air conditioning was appreciated during the warm weather

Die Unterkunft hat in fast allen Zimmern eine Raumhöhe von z.T. weniger als 1,8 m. Das ist - in Bezug auf die Vermietbarkeit - m.E. mehr als grenzwertig und es gibt in der Anzeige keinen Hinweis darauf. Ich habe mir nicht nur einmal den Kopf gestoßen. Die Situation ist beklemmend, wenn Du in einer Ferienwohnung fast nirgends aufrecht gehen kannst. Insbesondere in dem Zimmer mit der - eigentlich - hohen Decke, gehen die Sparren auf ca. 1,73 m nach unten. Man kann keinen Meter laufen ohne den Kopf einziehen zu müssen.Die Fenster zur Hofseite sind zur Öffnung deswegen ungeeignet, weil es ein Gebläse gibt, was Tag und Nacht nach (unbestätigter) Messung 50 dB erzeugt.Die Agentur cooton (übrigens auch bei GoogleMaps - anders als bei FeWo-direkt- ziemlich schlecht bewertet) hat ein sogenanntes "Büro", was sich keine 100 m entfernt von der Unterkunft befindet. Trotzdem wird ein Check-In vor Ort abgelehnt und man wird zu einer Internetbasierten check-in Prozedur gezwungen, die über eine weitere - bis dahin nicht bekannte Plattform abgewickelt wird. Auf dieser Seite wird man dazu angehalten, eine Versicherung, für die Kaution abzuschließen (so etwas hatte ich bislang noch in keinem seriösen Vermietungsprozess gesehen). Die Agentur sendet zum Checkout eine E-Mail eine Nachricht, wo sie nahelegt, dass unvorteilhafte Bewertungen ggf. nicht veröffentlicht werden. Das ist m.E. unerhört. Ich bin mehr als gespannt, ob meine Nachricht bei FeWo Direkt ungefiltert veröffentlich wird.

Wir weisen in unserer Anzeige auf folgenden Satz hin: „Es handelt sich um eine Wohnung mit geringer Deckenhöhe“, aber vielleicht reicht das nicht aus. Wir werden dies daher für unsere zukünftigen Gäste besser hervorheben. Was unsere Agentur betrifft, die tatsächlich nur 56 Meter von der Wohnung entfernt liegt, hätten wir uns gefreut, Sie bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen – allerdings nicht, um Ihre Kaution entgegenzunehmen, da dies alles über einen Link im Internet abgewickelt wird. Unsere Büros sind jedoch in der Nebensaison montags bis samstags von 9 bis 17 Uhr und in der Hochsaison täglich von 9 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Bettina

Beautiful, clean, historic property. We stayed during the heat wave and were so glad we had AC! The beds were comfortable and there was ample space to relax and recharge. Communication was fantastic! We stayed with our 12 year old. There is a set of ladder-like stairs that wouldn’t be great for very young children, but they were fine for us. Excellent stay!
