Thank you for being an awesome guest! So glad you enjoyed, please come visit again. Sheila Young
Great location close to all the amenities. Quiet , charming and cozy cabin. Countertops and sinks a little dated, but everything is provided that you need. Rate is reasonable. Managers very cooperative. Basic cable and DVD player. Couldn’t figure out how to get to internet, so no Prime, Netflix, Apple TV, etc. We would stay again.

The villa is quiet cozy. The internet company had a problem and we didn't know about it. It is fixed and all is well after we switched to a different company. Glad Rick enjoyed the Villa. Thank you

Good price but dirty!
The place was in a good location. Process of checkin was simple. The condo was not clean.Coffee pot was full of old grinds and coffee. Bugs were in the grinds. Needless to say, we had no coffee. Cob webs everywhere. Floor needed vacuuming. Lights did not work in the loft.,Oven was filthy and we were trying to cook for Thanksgiving. Walkway up to the door was steep and in need of repair. Place has potential but needs some major renovating

The cabin is without a doubt is the coolest place in Big Canoe. Unfortunately housekeeping did not show up. Said they did , but didn't. We have just spent alot of money on rehabbing the cabin. Brand new floors and painting. Its the best deal in Big Canoe That housekeeper was fired.
We loved the area and the house provided everything that we needed. Overall, more attention to cleaning needs to be performed - especially to the loft area. Thorough cleaning and updates across the board would probably help the owner achieve a higher rating and repeat customers. Shag rug in living room should be removed as it does a really good job capturing sticky snacks. The entrance walkway is challenging for those who aren't in the best of health.

Thanks for visiting The villa is a charming cabin feel with all the beams it has. We have acquired brand new housekeeping services. Beautiful shag is getting a deep cleaning. You are in the mountains
And the view is awesome. The walk way is not steep at all, we all need to stay active.
We rented this home for 9 days. Upon arrival my 8 mo old dog started running around and was eating the remains of pet food, some kind of chips under the tables and in certain corners (predominately the living room and dining). There was pet hair everywhere. Within 2 hrs he was sick and it lasted until day 3 when we had to take him to the vet. I spent the first hour vacuuming the floor with a antiquated 1950’s Electrolux vacuum (a big part of their problem). I communicated often with the property manager and she said the pet cleaner didnt make it as she had covid. Pet cleaning fee is double the regular cleaning fee. The Property Manager offered to Zelle me a reimbursement but I had to follow up and she only reimbursed the regular cleaning fee. We went back and forth on communications and she said she would zelle us the entire amt of the pet fee if I didnt post a negative review to which I agreed but she never sent the $$ and never read my response requiring me to follow up once again. She lied about a functional fire place and said it was electric yet when we got there and couldnt get it to work she advised it was only decorative. THEN I saw a prior 1 star review that had almost the EXACT same problems we did yet property manager said they lied in their response and were just looking for a refund. This property manager is not truthful and I felt as if she was gas lighting me the entire time. This could be a cute place but has not been cleaned well in the main living areas and is need of updating and good carpet shampoo. The property manager knows there are problems but not willing to do much other than beg you to be nice in your respective review. There are so many crumbs and chips in the pull out sofa Im surprised we didnt see more bugs. The upside is the bedrooms and bathrooms were relatively clean, tv and wifi worked well. Accessibility however is very poor, 14 stairs and an uneven paved walkway between steps. You should be in very good physical shape to access this home. I wish I would have seen the 1 star review before booking and paying in full. I do NOT recommend booking this property. Bad VRBO experience.

This lady remarks are totally untrue. She got mad when I didn't refund money back to her. Her dog was sick when she got there and wanted me to pay the Vet bill. The villa is very clean, housekeeping cleaned and was very clean. The villa is located above the Marina, the villas are located around the mountain side but definitely you can walk up the path to the door easily. If I had given her money she would not have written these untrue statements. The carpet is an indoor outdoor carpet and has been cleaned. The villa is a wonderful place, very cozy and has a cabin feel of course. You are in the mountains. This ladys statements are so untrue
Good location within Big Canoe. The villa was clean and comfortable, though somewhat dated. The owner was very responsive, though I had to ask for the check in information. I would stay there again.
