I booked this Getaway By the Beach over a month in advance. I drove over nine hours to get there, and my other family drove six hours to get to the property. Thirty minutes before we were to check in, which was at 4pm, I received a message that my four night reservation had been canceled and was no longer available due to an issue with the A/C. No attempt to direct us to a different property nor a hotel which could accommodate our family and pets (which is why we chose this specific listing). Being in a strange state/city with family and dogs with no where to stay at the end of a day when we have all been driving was horrendous. The next day, we noticed this listing was available again - no attempt was made to reach out to allow us to resume the reservation (not that we would have), although I did receive a fairly quick refund.

Owner was very responsive and helpful. We were close enough to walk to the beach and they had everything we needed.
