RIP OFF - Missing in action

I arrived & the owner never responded to me (by email or by phone. The phone was disconnected) about getting into the VRBO. I called VRBO and spoke to Ismail. He tried email and the only phone number available to VRBO. He said the ph# was no good. I looked back 1 yr ago the same thing happen to another person. Apparently, VRBO does not do a routine check on their owners to confirm email and phone contacts. I asked Ismail what happens if I can’t get into the apartment? He said he did not know. Unfortunately we had to pay for a Hotel for 3 nights. I have been unable until now to address this since we were in Charlotte to attend to family matters. I expect VRBO to contact me with this financial issue within the next 24-48 hours. I have never had a previous issue with VRBO. I hope this will be resolved and my faith will be restored with VRBO again

Embarrassing weekend

Upon arriving to the location early host didn’t respond. Turned out that i would be on the phone with Vrbo for 8hr before I got a free reservation for a hotel room. After that I would have to book somewhere else on my own. It was just an overall very bad and embarrassing experience.
