Perfect set up for all 11 of us. Game room & hot tub was a huge hit. Kayaking, Fishing & swimming from dock was so fun (thank you for providing plenty of life jackets & towels). House was clean, very spacious, lots of doors for privacy, entering, exiting, etc. Kitchen had everything! 4.5 baths was well appreciated! The house decks were perfect, providing an amazing view of lake, so peaceful! We also did lots of antique/collectible/unique finds shopping. Made many precious memories!

Everything was wonderful great dock lots of room and space for everyone. Top notch clean with all the amenities.My only problem was that the beds where awful 4 out of 5 rooms the beds were worn out. It had three pieces of metal four pieces of straw and one noisy spring in each mattress they creeked and groaned Everything rolled to the center.I seriously consider going to Sam’s Club and buying a mattress. My wife laid the couch cushions on the floor because it was at least flat.

The house was clean and well set up! All of the amenities were as described, which was wonderful to enjoy. The check in process took a little extra time, but the host was always responsive and easy to reach. Absolutely would stay here again!

Family Bonding Time

We stayed at the Lake Norman property to celebrate a milestone family birthday. It was a great location. We had a fantastic time on the lake boating and fishing. It was a wonderful family vacation.

Nice lakefront property with boat dock

Nice property on Lake Norman. Kayaks, floaties and fishing poles provided. Owner was very responsive when we had an issue with smoke alarms going off for no reason.

Family time

Roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, swam at the dock, fun catching some fish, and relaxed on the porches. Celebrated birthdays nearby.

The house was better than we expected. It was beautiful inside and out. It had a beautiful yard, Dock, hot tub, fire pit, and right on the water to fish and jump right in. The host was easy to get in touch with and answered any questions we may have had. The kayaks were a huge hit for all of us. The kids loved to play darts, and pool. We had zero issues and highly recommend this house on the water and we will definitely be back in the future.

Great Lake House

The home was quite dirty upon our arrival and we did not receive our check-in information until we requested it from owner. Aside from those minor issues, the house was in a great location and was everything we were looking for. There was alot to do and overall we had a great family trip.

Great house

My family came together for my daughter’s wedding. The house was everything we wanted and needed. Owner has done a fabulous job with newly renovation. The fire pit, hot tub, grill and dock were very nice amenities for use during our stay. Plenty of space for a large group. Very clean and nicely furnished! YES, I would absolutely rent again!!! Owner was accommodating with quick responses to any question I had prior to and during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The **location is fantastic**, and the pictures online are an exact match for what the house looks like in person.The Highlights: * **Amazing Lake Access:** The dock is nice, and we had a blast using the provided kayaks. * **The Hot Tub:** It was clean, hot, and the perfect way to unwind in the evenings.A Few Things to Note: * **Amenities:** Make sure to pack your own beach towels, as none were provided. Also, the downstairs TV was missing its remote during our stay. * **Connectivity:** The Wi-Fi was quite spotty. The host, Jim, was incredibly nice and actively tried to fix it for us, but it still wasn't working properly by the time we checked out. * **Surroundings:** We noticed a few dogs roaming around the neighborhood loose, just something to keep in mind if you have pets or small kids.Overall, it’s a beautiful spot and Jim was a responsive host. We would definitely recommend it for a lake getaway!

EXCELLENT host and house!

The owner definitely cares! They had thought out every detail and really went to great lengths to make the home cozy and well furnished. We were pleasantly surprised that they had provided everything we needed- from dish detergent to toilet paper and trash bags. This place is almost too good to be a rental! We brought our boat and were able to easily dock it and fill up at the marina right across from the house. The fire pit was so dreamy at night. The neighbors are VERY quiet. We stayed Labor Day weekend and never saw anyone out past 5 pm haha.

Beautiful and well located property on lake Norman!

My family had a wonderful time at this property. We had some issues on arrival (VRBO did not post access instructions, and cleaning not finished), but owner promptly made everything right. Location is excellent, close to stores, restaurants and marina/rentals, and only 30 minutes from downtown Charlotte! Property is brand new and beautifully detailed. Setup is almost 2 different living areas, with a 1-bedrooom suite over the garage with a full kitchen, living area and sun deck! Great views of lake cove and water. Enjoyed the fire pit and dock with lights and fan. Lots of comfortable laying out areas to relax. Hot tub looked amazing, but it was too hot outside on our trip to use. Would definitely rent again, host is fantastic!

Overall, we had a nice week at the lake, but there were several issues future guests should know about.The home has a great layout with a bathroom for every bedroom, so no one had to share. The covered second-story porch overlooking the lake was our favorite place to relax, and the garage game room with the pool table was a fun bonus. The neighbors were also very friendly.Unfortunately, communication with the owner was poor. I reached out several days before check-in for arrival instructions and received no response. After contacting VRBO support and being told we might need a hotel for the first night, the owner finally sent the entry code just 15 minutes before check-in.The listing says the marina is nearby, but it’s directly across the canal. While convenient for boaters, expect constant forklift noise and heavy boat traffic during the day.There were also maintenance issues. The grill was broken, one bathroom light didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi never worked during our week-long stay, which meant the TVs didn’t work either. We reported it at the start of our stay, but the owner didn’t respond until the second-to-last day. The hot tub was a nice amenity but needed cleaning.The home has a lot of potential, but more responsive communication and better maintenance would make for a much better guest experience.
