This little and well laid out ground floor apartment was perfect for our time in Aix. Super convenient to old town, culture, restaurants and shopping. We appreciated the owner accommodating us for an extra day and the lovely terrace to enjoy, as well as a place to store our bicycles.

Was a great small place for a couple. It had a great location right in the heart of aix and a charming little private garden and best of all it had air-conditioning, which was really important when we were there because it was in the 90s. The only drawback to the apartment which the host mentions in the text is that there is a very low spot in the hallway, which will be a problem if you were taller than about 5 foot 6. But after a few bumps, I learned to watch out for it.

Great location!

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is wonderful and close to L'hôtel de ville, the market, and lots of shops. The snall courtyard was nice for enjoying a glass of wine or breakfast. The only thing to cpmplain about is that the Arch between the kitchen and bedroom is low, so watch your head!!There are two parking structures nearby. The structure near les Cardeurs is 25/day. The Parking Pasteur on Rue du Chapitre was 20 per day but very convenient. I would recommend staying here!

The location, right in the center of the historic district and walkable to everything, including parking, was wonderful. And that is the end of the good part. The place is tiny but we didn't care. It was very very dirty and we did care. We could feel dirt under our feet when walking. We tried to move to a hotel but everything was sold out. The dirt under the bathroom sink looks like years of built up dirt. Knick knacks covered in dust. Towels covered in bleach stains. Washer did not work and when we emailed about it we were told to contact the concierge. No number given etc. Frost filled the freezer. Mold and dirt on the shower tiles. Bedding was very old and worn out. No top sheet. Pillows MUST be replaced. About 10 inches of hanging space for clothes. This place needs new bed linens and towels, a deep clean, a coat of paint, and decluttered of all the useless knick knacks. I would never return no matter the cost.

I love this apartment. There’s everything you need. The location was perfect and right around the corner where many in our traveling group was staying. I was dreaming that if I lived in France, I could so manage in such an adorable small space! Due to a delayed flight, I didn’t arrive at the apartment until after midnight. In the dark, I had a little trouble opening the exterior shutters to locate the lockbox. It’s likely a good thing the lockbox is a bit hidden. Of course, I was working from my flashlight. As to the cleanliness, overall, just fine. The space is old, quirky, and well organized. The small dried leaves from the patio could’ve been swept up better. Maybe vacuumed? lol. Seriously, I don’t know how foliage trimming and maintenance happens there. The patio is a tiny sweet space which sealed the deal for me. I kept tracking in debris though. The bed was comfy and the linens clean. There is a nice quality white comforter in the armoire which could use a good cleaning before the next guest uses it. I took it out to use and immediately put it back. I’ll leave it there on that. My only other concern was that I had to prompt the communication with the host ahead of my trip. I was getting a bit anxious with just days to go before my reservation since I’d booked nearly a year in advance. Once I got the entry instructions, I was good to go. If you’re traveling solo or with a partner, book it. When I’m back, I’ll see if it’s available since I would definitely stay again.
