Wow! This is a great spot to get close to nature while pampering yourself!
Totally loved it! Amazing value and everything you could want. This host/hostess are amazing but the property is even more so, lol. This is the stuff that makes abandoning hotels worth the effort!
This was a lovely place to stay. The size and amenities were pleasing for us. What a lovely forested vacation spot. The cabin was quiet, and the far-off sound of the passing train was charming! The weather was rainy, so we didn't experience the lake, but it looked very nice. We were concerned about the pet fee. First we thought the fee was included since the phrase "includes all fees" was advertised. We also somehow didn't communicate that our dogs were with us until we arrived. Secondly 25 per pet seems in line with other places where we've stayed. But "per pet per day" seems excessive. It means that we won't be coming back for a longer stay.
Loved our stay in this stylish, comfortable cabin!
Lots of amenities to enjoy including the well stocked kitchen, beautiful deck with chaise recliners, patio table and chairs, games, a charcoal grill, and, of course, the lake! The bed is also very comfortable.
Walking down to the water takes about 2 minutes. The grassy area in front of the water has tons of Adirondack chairs, fire pits, paddle boards and kayaks to use. There’s a small dock to jump off of.
We reached out to the hosts several times and each time they were very response, once even driving up to bring us an extra game.
We grilled, played croquet and bocce (included!), and enjoyed the lake. There are 5 cabins in a row (you can see the neighbors decks) and a larger house coming online soon. This would be an awesome spot for a family reunion or gathering of friends.
We were looking for a cabin on a lake to spend a few days fishing and swimming with our pups. We found a little slice of paradise! We stayed in cabin 4 which was outfitted with what we needed to be comfortable and feel at home during our stay. Lake access was a quick walk from the cabins where you find Adirondack chairs, row boats, kayaks, paddle boards and more. Fish, swim, relax and repeat! We are looking forward to visiting again, maybe next time for some winter fun!
